After a disappointing encounter with the manager over at the Green Mill, our concierge at the Doubletree recommended we stroll over to the ol’ Corner Bar, which she said was within walking distance from us. Being a Sunday night at 9 pm, we obliged because we didn’t want to find ourselves cold and hungry in the confines of the Trees, two of them to be exact. I had me a PB&J burger, which literally knocked the stockings off my feet. Girlfriend enjoyed her cheeseburger as well. Thanks to Bailey at the Tree of Doubles for turning us onto the joint.
