Margarita Pizza & Bakery — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

I normally get delivery if I order pizza but since this was my first time at a new place I decided to pick up. That was a great decision… as soon as I opened the door the smell of bread baking in the oven overwhelmed my senses. It went right to my brain and made me want to order more than I had originally purchased. The girl at the counter showed me the bread that was baking and gave me a free sample. The bread had so much flavor. The food came out and I drove home with the pizza warmer on (heated seat). We ordered a cheesesteak (seeded roll, cooper sharp). The steak had good beefy flavor that goes perfectly with the creamy cheese. The roll was soft on the inside with a a crunchy seeded exterior. The meat and cheese could be mixed a bit better but it was good overall. We got a small cheese pizza. The crust was the star of this cheesy pie. Usually I leave the crust and it ends up getting trashed but this was so pillowy and soft I had to eat to the last bite. We also got mozzarella sticks and cheese fries. These were as good as expected.

I would definitely go back and probably make this my new pizza spot.

This is clearly a bakery that decided, for whatever reason, try and make pizza. The pizza is clearly made by people who know how to make bread because the crust is very bread-like. It's thick, soft, and fluffy. There's a lot of cheese as well, I can't imagine what extra cheese is like. The wings are clearly from a large bag of frozen wings and fried up. Not any sauce on them, they were pretty much dry. The chicken cheese steak was the best part but even then it was mediocre at best. I'm sure, from smell inside the establishment, and look of the items in the case, as well as how the pizza tasted, that there baked goods would be very good and worth the visit. Seems like pizza was added as an afterthought to drum up business since it's the most popular...

Sad to say based on the reviews I thought that I was going to have a great experience when I first walked in I was surprised that there was not any pizzas already made and displayed for slice sales but anyway I still ended up ordering a buffalo chicken Fry's in The Cheesesteak fries and also order some wings when I got home and opened everything and started eating I quickly realized that a lot of this food was not made fresh the chicken I guess it was reheated and then put on top of the fries and then just melt it with a whole bunch of provolone and mozzarella cheese which made the meal inedible definitely not a place that I would recommend or definitely not a place that I would go...
