I just went here for the first time, and I was super excited! It looks like they have fun lattes, yummy options, and overall looked nice. Upon pulling into the parking lot, there were at least 3 spots taken up by outdoor seating (not an issue personally, just interesting due to the already limited parking). My boyfriend and I walked in, and immediately realized we would not be able to dine in as we initially intended as it was packed (understandably⊠itâs was 10 AM on a Friday). Service was great! The girls working were super nice, answered my questions, gave recommendations, etc. I ordered the specialty latte flight (sea serpent, Mr crab, Tram car, SpongeBob) and a breakfast sandwich, and my boyfriend ordered a plain latte. We did not wait long for our orders, but something I noticed was that the espresso seemed like it was prepped (I saw them making my lattes with a jug of what looked like pre-made espresso). Honestly, it couldâve been chai I donât know. But based off of how bad the lattes were, Iâm guessing it was prepped. I get this is to save time when making lattes, but it leads to god-awful coffee. I ordered flavors that I know I like in lattes, and my boyfriend ordered something he gets all the time. I tasted his latteâ it tasted like pierogis đ. The only good drink out of my flight was the Dubai chocolate chai/ Mr crab latte. Both the matcha and espresso/ lattes were not that good. If you are open to suggestions, I would recommend a better quality matcha, less super sugary syrups (the berry in the âtram carâ tastes like Hershey strawberry syrup and overpowers the matcha), and fresh espresso (again, assuming it was prepped). I really came in wanting to love this cafe. On a brighter note, the breakfast sandwich and the Dubai chocolate chai were good. I am just a little disappointed that only 1/5 drinks were drinkable. Note: I have read other reviews and responses. We are both confrontational people and would have mentioned something/ shared our complaints to the workers. If there was room to dine in, we could have. Instead, we only tasted our drinks when we got home and did not want to drive all the way back. I hope you do not take this as a dig or someone trying to tear down your business, and instead take this review as constructive criticism. I wish you...
Read moreA friend and I had made plans to meet at Pot Heads this past Saturday. We arrived at 10:45 am First of all I the location sucks! đ«There is NOT enough parking spots and one of the few spots is used for outdoor seating. I wasnât paying attention to see if they had handicapped parking spaces allotted. After the struggle of having to park elsewhere, there was a line out the door. I glanced inside to see that the place was full of patrons already sitting at tables, waiting on their food, as well as 8-10 others waiting in line and was told that we would more than likely have to take our order to go, as it was standing room only. My first concern was that of a clear escape route in case of an đ„emergency and that there is nothing in the way of their customers exiting promptly 𧯠I was also concerned about the maximum occupancy for those eating inside, which Iâm assuming was not in compliance. Realizing that we would have to get our order to go and eat it in the car was out of the question as far as we were concerned. We drove up Bensalem Blvd and Gibson Rd and decided upon eating at âBagelocityâ. Not only was there plenty enough parking spaces, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly as we walked in and went over their menu items & what soups were on the board for the day. The bagels were fresh and warm, and they had quite a variety. We ordered and made our way to one of the tables. The server who took our order delivered it to us promptly while we chatted leisurely. I had the Sweet Chili and a sesame seed bagel and my friend had the Avocado Toast which were simply delicious. After the aggravation we experienced earlier this morning at Pot Heads, needless to say we wonât ever be attempting to go back there, but instead we found a great new place just up the road Thank you Bagelocity your establishment...
Read moreWe saw this place on tiktok. From the video it looked so cute and definitely fit our vibe so the 4 of us decided to take the 90 min drive to test out the Harry Potter/Coraline specials before the menu changes after 10/4. I already had the understanding that they may have gotten some extra traffic from the viral tiktok video. That being said we got there right when they opened on a Saturday morning. We fell in love the moment we walked in the doors. This coffeehouse is so cute and cozy and you instantly feel welcomed by the staff. We were immediately greeted, given menus and the specials were explained. We sat for a moment to look over the menus as the place filled up very quickly. My husband went up to order for us since the line was growing. We got breakfast sandwiches, the Harry Potter flight, and a frozen hot chocolate, the besties got avocado toast and 2 iced Bobinskys (iykyk). They appeared to be short staffed but our goodies came out in a timely manner. Everything was DELICIOUS! The flights of their coffee specials are genius (especially for me who likes to try everything)! People seemed to be getting their items in a reasonable amount of time. The couple next to us did have to check on their order but the owner (or what I think was the owner) made it right by giving them a refund for their inconvenience and made sure their food was being addressed immediately. Just remember youâre supporting a small business who Iâm sure are dealing with a sudden huge influx of new traffic due to social media. Be patient and kind. It literally costs nothing to be a good human. Everyone working had a smile and a great attitude even with it being slammed! We will DEFINITELY be back! Some of the best coffee Iâve ever had! The Ravenclaw iced latte was...
