2 stars based on the fact they do make good food products, however they could use some pointers on how to treat customers and how to do business in general. I went in on a Saturday looking for pie, no specific kind, just pie. They don't have any. What kind of bakery doesn't have pie?? Ok, no big deal, I realize we're in a tiny, non-existent town so I ask when they will have pie again. The girl doesn't know. I honestly have no idea why she was even there because she had zero information. I went in ready to spend a good chunk of change and this girl was so incredibly rude and made me feel like I was somehow annoying her simply because I was at a bakery asking about items that bakery's make. Then I asked if there's a list of items that they make there so I at least have a reference of what's available, nope. I was told to call at 5 am when the baker is there. Ok, yep, sure. I'll just set my alarm to get up at 5 am so I can call into your bakery to talk to the baker to find out what pies I could possibly order. I don't think so. I get it that this place seems to be some sort of local phenomenon but I don't see what's so great about it. Customer service is garbage, selection was trash unless you want one of the giant overpriced extremely dry cupcakes that you need a gallon of milk to get through. The bakery and deli are in 2 different locations which is confusing to somebody who's never been there before. I have a degree in marketing and this place has no clue what they're doing. They could be so much more. And whoever's rude kid you've got working in there you need to know they're causing you to lose business. If...
Read moreOrder was fast and friendly. Plenty of choices to choose from, I find the best on the menu that you canât get many places are the breaded tenderloin and onion rings. After ordering they hand you a buzzer and your drink cup. While waiting for your food you canât help but wonder from room to room. Each selling a different kind of product from jams to signs. They have everything lake oriented, cups, signs, stickers, beach bags. Then at the end store is the donut and cake shop. Beware, plenty of sweet goodness everywhere you look. Soon your buzzer goes off and you make your way back to the food counter to pick up your meal. The food is fresh and hot, wonderful crispy breading on both the onion rings and tenderloin. These are not skinny pork fritters here but thick real slices of loin run through a tenderizer and hand breaded. The thick slices of onions are also hand breaded and a great side to this sandwich. You are in charge of your own drink at the drink fountain and refill at will. Afterwords you pick up your own table and separate plastic tray, and trash at the receptacle. This is definitely a service that keeps the cost down. Definitely I would recommend eating here with your family members or by your own if youâre in the Draffenville area. A short drive from the Northern-end of Kentucky Lake, plenty of parking, and...

I stopped at the grill today to pick up a carry-out order and was met with some lady holding her dog virtually on top of the checkout counter!!! Just mere feet away from food that was prepared and ito be sold to the public. Clearly this animal was not a service animal of any kind and just her pet but we're allowing animals inside of establishments that prepare and serve food. Used to be a health code violation. I love my dog but I am not about to attempt to take him into somewhere that repairs and sells food,, that's probably because I have study dude and sanitization practices as I used to work in the...
