We are in town looking at a truck and my fiancĂ© and I wanted something different than we’re used to (we’re from Louisville) and we both absolutely LOVED this place! I didn’t get any pictures of our food because we started grubbing lol we also had our 1 year old daughter with us and she loved the food as well! Highly recommend the catfish, and the meatloaf is really yummy too! They are THE SWEETEST people and it’s family owned! The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful and it’s so clean and quite and has such a cute little set up, they have a hot chocolate bar right now because tis the season đŸ„° 10/10 absolutely recommend for many reasons! 💛 Thank you all so much for being so inviting and the amazing homemade food!

Had a group of 6, and everyone loved the food. I only snapped pictures of mine because everyone was eating before I thought to get a picture of theirs. I had the Bluegrass Burger and it was perfectly cooked and had everything I ask for on it. Had Fries and they were good as well. Crinkle cut and cooked right. I also had Banana pudding but ate it before taking a picture. So you’ll just have to take my word for how great it tasted! Was out first time there but we will definitely be back.

We loved eating here! We stopped in after hiking at the pinnacle and the two ladies working were so kind. I told the lady that served us that we live over an hour away but we want to come back and she gave us our to go desserts for free. I also loved that they had an option to leave cash in a locked box for people that may not have money for a meal. Also enjoyed looking at the art. We will definitely stop in next time we’re in Berea!! Thanks so much

Today we decided to check out this little place for lunch. Only been in Berea for about 6 months, wish we would have went with our first choiceinstead of here! First, prices are ok, reasonable. Ordering is a breeze (counter order). Ladies were friendly enough. Place is a bit dark in the back, so we opted to sit up front by the large window and people watch. Somehow, after just 5 mins, food came out before we even sat ourselves. (We were getting our own drinks, and was just sitting down) Food was not good. Hubby ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings. Onion rings were pretty great! Steak, not so much. Only (maybe) 1/4 inch thick. Came on a hamburger bun, not a roll. First bite was a huge chunk of gristle! That piece of fat looked gross. Not sure how they cook the food actually. There was no color to the steak. He wasn't pleased, but ate because he was hungry. As for my order, well, let's just say burgers should never be that dry, ever. AND on top of that dry hockey puck, it was only lukewarm. Went to ask if they could maybe just microwave it for a couple of seconds, they offered a new burger. Ok, nice enough, thank you. She brought out the new burger after only about 3 mins. It was warmer, but not any better. How do they cook their food so fast? đŸ€” Me thinks that it's all already prepared and they just keep food warm somehow. If they actually grilled the food, it would be a longer wait. So, keeping this in mind, you won't have fresh hot cooked food. The fries I ordered were good though. The soda machine was out of almost everything, and had hand written pieces of paper saying it was out of order or out of soda, don't remember. I got iced tea, very weak. We won't be going back. Too bad, we were hoping that this would be a regular...

If I could’ve gave it a half star I would I took a couple bites and I was wondering if it was even sanitary my blue Grass burger was on a cold bun cheese would just thrown on it cold and the burger seems like it had been pre-cooked hours earliermy girlfriend got the chicken strips. She said they were tasteless. The breading just fell off. It was totally gross. The only thing that was a can the can of Coke I had which happened to cost me 20 something dollars the hot bar behind the counter looked repulsive. None of the servers are workers were wearing any type of plastic gloves, considering that they have a hot bar and a salad bar that look purely unattended to and gross and they want 1099 for the salad bar, come on definitely a tourist trap and probably would run tourist off because it is totally repulsive. I don’t think this place will last very long. I should’ve took photos of the gross and disgusting food, but I was so disgusted. I just left immediately after seeing what a shitty ass hamburger they served me. I don’t think I would feed...
