Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Berkeley

I waited.in drive thru 30mins to be told have no wings, ok ordered butterfly shrimp look like they gave me the ones that were to be thrown away but an order came in so let's box it up and sell throw a bunch of fries over so they can't tell. The manager they have know of Indian decent he is SO RUDE,NO CUSTOMER SERVICE he doesn't even try to make things better just says you want your money back or what. As long as he is there Popeyes will continue to go down I see so many complaints and the community talking about how that restaurant is not good under his leadership he has no skills the workers ALWAYS LOOK SO TENSE AND SCARED TO Work in fear of making mistakes and his mouth. I know no one cares it's about money but look at your bottom line,I know it's been a change since the kind Asian manager was helping. Just take a look at sakes how it's decline. They are always OUT OF FOOD,NEVER PARTICIPATE WITH THE SALES/COMMERCIALS, BUSY SPECIALS ALWAYS SAY 15MINS CHICKEN READY like you didn't know it's a promotion taking place and forces you to buy something else. The way The driveway is you cannot leave you cannot leave if you do not want something from the menu you are forced to wait in line with everybody even if you decide there is nothing you want they need to fix that too it is that's true it...

This one has gone downhill. I don't know if it's all Popeyes or just this one, but they stopped doing dinners and only do combos here. (Dinners are your entree, one side and a biscuit, while Combos come with that and a drink usually a $1 more then a dinner). But they only do combos so you have to have a drink. But the last time I went I got the special advertised item they got which is usually $5 for the dinner and $6 for the combo, because they only do combos I got the $6 opinion but they didn't give me a drink saying that it didn't come with a drink even though they charged me the combo price and my receipt said combo and had a small drink included. They said that it not supposed to come with a drink but because they don't do dinners anymore they have to charge me the combo price but not give me a drink. The picture they advised even had a drink with the meal and the receipt said it comes with a drink. I spent like 10 mins trying to explain that I should either get a drink or be charged for a dinner before giving up and just leaving...

I was looking forward to eating at this Popeye's because I moved away for a few years and where I live, all of the Popeye's were closed down. First of all I had been looking forward to eating the mashed potatoes and gravy because it's my favorite. I made my order and I was informed that they were out of mashed potatoes and gravy and asked what I wanted to replace it with. I chose cajun rice. I was disappointed about not being able to have my favorite item though. I also ordered a 4 piece chicken combo which included a breast, a wing and 2 thighs. I received my order but there was no wing. They did try to accommodate me by giving me an extra breast after I brought it to their attention because they were out of wings too. I did appreciate their customer service and accommodation but I was still very disappointed in the fact that I didn't get to have the mashed potatoes and gravy that I was looking forward to.
