Hamburguesas Don Jesus — Restaurant in Berkley

I was thinking this place would be the typical greasy burger place, but nope. You can tell they use real fresh food, nothing tastes frozen and the chicken was delicious! My boyfriend loved the burger he had and neither of us could finish the whole thing, serving sizes are huge so you're getting an appropriate amount of food for what you pay. They don't actually have in person dining like Google says (a plus in my book). There are Xs on the floor every 6 feet in the waiting area and when I went in people were following it. Masks required. The front counter has a plexiglass shield and you can see into the back where the kitchen staff were also wearing masks while they cook. Safe and delicious....

Great spot for a mom and pop burger! (Or hotdogs and fries). They have numerous burgers with different toppings (ham, queso, beef, jalapeño, etc.) They have a smaller or larger size for the bun but I'm not sure if the patty size changes. The thickness of the burger is of a "smash" burger but you can easily add another patty for a couple of dollars. The price is totally reasonable and good portions!
