White Castle — Restaurant in Berkshire Township

One of the worst experiences i've ever had at a fast food restaurant. We arrived at 1:30 PM. Sign on the door said Private party starts at 2. We placed our order and waited and waited and waited at 1:45 o'clock. A young lady came out from the grill and locked. As the four people of us that were waiting on our orders not to let anybody else in. They shut down the kitchen and have a meeting with the manager Tia. After a few minutes they started filling orders again. When I got to ours, my husband asked is my wife's chicken sandwich in the bag. The young That was running the fries is the one that delivered our order to us. She assured us yes. So we walked out the locked door got in our an van looked for my sandwich. It was not there my husband had ordered 10 sliders. And we all know when they stack. The 2 sliders together the 2. They're two and there too but there was no eleventh slider in the bag. I tapped on the window and luckily there was a gentleman there. Eating in the dining room. Was there when I ordered it let me back in. I went to the counter and I. I went to the counter. And express myself thay my chicken sandwich had been left out of the bag. Then an argument started between me and the manager Tia. This was not good, but I did not cuss. I explained to her that I looked in the bag. So they made they made a mistake and Tia the manager turned it around and made it look like i'm the one that made a mistake She told me to give her a call when I got out to my vehicle and saw my chicken sandwich in the bottom of the bag.. I don't think she's a manager material if you can't handle a party. And it's at 2 o'clock and you can't handle your employees to do their job. She shouldn't even be in that position. My order consisted of ten double sliders, one bag of fries, one onion flip small, one, small milkshake, one chicken slider sandwich and a monster. What I don't understand is why you would stop making food and have a meeting. And then start making food again. Why not finish off you what you had and get rid of your customers first instead of letting their food. S sit there and...

So me and my boyfriend are traveling a very long way back to Rhode Island and decided to stop and try the veggie burger because we are vegan and there is no White Castle near us. Well we ordered a number 7with veggie patties onions and pickles only with bbq sauce on the side. The boy in the front cashes is out then starts making jokes about an autistic girl that he works with he then says I shouldn’t say that she’s high functioning so she’s really smart. This upset me beyond belief my brother is autistic! So I hold my composure and say all people with autism are very smart. Well after this my boyfriend noticed the number 7 is 12.99 and he only charged us a little under. He instantly had an attitude thinking we were telling him he over charged us instead of listening to what we were saying he got defensive. We then had to break it down several times what we wanted and the manager in the back that already said we could order it with the veggie patties tells us you can’t do it. We said it’s fine things just could have been explained a little better the boy asked if we wanted honey mustered I said no were vegan so he asked again what we wanted on the veggie burgers we told him again onions pickles and bbq on the side. He then went in the back and started talking trash about us being vegan. This is so rude and unprofessional on so many levels I am disgusted with the way these employees acted. I will be contacting corporate immediately. Stopped at this White Castle on a road trip up north. Do not have any near us at all and the food is delicious so wanted to give this place a try. The service was slow, upon arrival, the girl at the counter said it would be a “20-25 minute wait” (they were telling drive thru the same). Not sure why, as there were 5 people back in the back at least. However, food came out quicker than we expected (more like 15 min) and we had ordered a decent variety of items. Food was hot, fresh and delicious! Exactly what we were hoping for. The restaurant itself however, pretty disgusting. The chairs were all rusting and falling apart, floor was sticky in places, the high chairs looked like they had never been cleaned, and the bathrooms by far were the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Piles of dirt sitting in corners and around the toilet, the sink and toilet were a mess and of course the thinnest TP known to man.
