I came here for breakfast with a few friends a few days ago after reading great reviews. The food was fine, unfortunately my dining experience was hindered by poor customer interaction. My friend and I both ordered 3 eggs, toast, and homefries (marked around $5.90). After being prompted, I let her know I wanted my eggs sunny side up and my friend wanted hers scrambled. We also both ordered a coffee (marked at $2.50 each). We were surprised when we got the bill for 32 dollars. We noticed that her scrambled eggs were priced slightly higher than written on the menu and were charged for $8.75 instead of $5.90 (these are close approximations as I don't remember the exact cent value off the top of my head). Although this was charged slightly higher, it did not explain why our check came out to significantly higher than we had anticipated. When I brought this to the waitresses' attention, she said she undercharged me and that my sunny side up eggs should also be charged as $8.75 as well, attempting to further increase our already inflated bill. I informed her that the menu has the price for three eggs, homefries, and toast listed as $5.90, therefore she agreed to not charge me extra and adjusted my friends price. When she came back, the price was significantly reduced ($18 as opposed to $32). The waitress explained that this price has now been adjusted for the difference (note: the scrambled egg were only marked up 2 dollars and still did not explain this huge price gap). Normally, i would not be terribly upset by a miscalculation, it happens and I am sympathetic to that. What truly bothered me about this experience is that the waitress did not acknowledge that she had made a mistake and attributed a 14 dollar bill difference to a slight up-charge in the scrambled egg pricing. I was also really disappointed that the waitress did not even apologize once for this mistake and attempted to quickly brush over the situation. If you choose to dine here, please be sure to check your bill. Even though I think the waitress made an honest mistake, it was a significant price differential. It's just simply not fair to charge guests exponentially more than they had ordered (almost double!), even if done so...
Read moreI walk in and go straight to the counter where no one was sitting. Theres a worker talking to a customer to the right of me . I wait patiently. Then she walks to the left of me, does not greet or acknowledge me at all. I then watch her start making her rounds to the tables as she continues to make conversations with other customers. Ok. A couple walks in I offer them the two chairs at the counter that I was still standing at. The gentleman asks of I ordered? I said no, I'm waiting for her to ask me what I want. He then said I think you should stand at the end of the counter. I walk to the end of the counter where I stand and watch her walk past me. FINALLY a young lady came up and asked would I like to order. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with Swiss cheese on butter toasted bread. I give my card to the lady, she returns and I put my hand out to take my card back, she passes my extended hand and places my card on the counter in front of my hand. FOR SOME REASON SHE COULD NOT HAND IT BACK TO ME. 🤷🏼 I get in my vehicle and open my sandwich it seemed like some one squeezed it into a ball but ok. Finally got it opened Bite into it, no Swiss cheese as ordered no toasted butter bread. And the roll was pretty tuff and chewy. Never again. Your customer service unexplainable. Clearly I wasn't welcomed. You missed on every level. Acknowledge everyone with a greeting. If your to busy to give your time atleast say good morning, I'll be right with you. And if you have a dedicated to go area there should be a sign saying that. Two lessons for me. If you don't get good service in the first minute walk out. And I need to keep eating healthier. I feel of that day. But it won't happen...
Read moreI'm very upset , For months I have been trying to come here and it seems every time I tried it was closed or it was a monday .So finally I came here and it was open . So at first the service started out ok .I ordered ..She brings my food out and I was missing something she thought I didn't want it anymore because I ordered something else ...Well that's fine , That didn't bother me . What bother me was how she didn't check on me and ask how is everything, IT wasn't just because she didn't check on me , It was because she dropped my check and I was like I would like to add a to go , She picked up the check and made a face as if it was taking up her time or was an inconvenience for her . I had to get up and ask for napkins and a to go container and again no problem , My issue is how they treated me she just was off standish and was not very nice. Both of the woman. Was it because they thought I wasnt going to tip or I was young or they weren't happy to be at work .Regardless of any of that ..Be nice and make your customers feel welcomed. Didn't feel welcomed at all. Also I tip more than most people because I'm a SERVER just like these 2 women and I'm always smiling and polite to whomever walks thru the door .I just felt very unwelcomed . The food was good but I don't know if it was good enough to come back to a place that I felt I was a nucience or I was troubling them...
