We didn't know Greek-style pizza until we came to Connecticut & experienced Crossroads in Bridgeport (amazing, by the way). It is cooked with oil in the pan, as I understand it. Stopped in the other night and spoke with Jason, part owner, & Alex, chef. Great customer rapport. As for the pizza, excellent! Dare I say, better than Crossroads (bite my tongue). It's actually quite similar to a place in St. Louis I grew up with... Pantera's. The pizza is a medium crust with slightly firmer exterior (not quite like French bread but close) and a soft airy interior. The cheese is just-right ooey gooey and the toppings are plentiful, e.g. hand-pulled Italian sausage (as it should be. I know the best pizzas in the world are consistently Napolitan but they're missing a great segment to consider... Greek style. Great pies, gents. You will see us again! We highly recommend you.

This is a busy place. Good pizza & grinders here. I really like their Chef salad. staff is friendly. Update March of 2023: Went here and picked up a small mozzarella pizza & a Chef Salad. Both items were good as usual. FYI, the small pizzas are not very small. I like the small pizzas here because they get the ratios right when adding toppings. I noticed the dining area is closed, which is too bad. I added a photo of the small mozzarella pizza - too bad somebody got excited and couldn't wait to grab a slice... lol

Ordered a Meat Lovers for pick up and whoever awnswred the phone hung up abroubtly, so that was my first impression. You know how the pizza scale is that bad pizza is still good pizza? This pizza actually proved that wrong. Cheese was flavorless and rubbery, meat tasted old and also had no flavor either. W Didn't even finish the pizza. Garlic bread was the most edible thing, but don't get it with cheese unless you like eating silicon rubber

Haven’t had Central Pizza in years and now I remember why. A friend and I decided to grab a “quick dinner” that happened turned out to be over two hours. All we ordered was a water and 1 fountain drinks no refills, a chicken parm grinder and a small speciality pizza. Sounds simple right? Well an hour after ordering I decided to wave the waitress down and got an eye roll and ignored. After 5 mins she comes and I ask why everyone has their dinner after they walked in after and she said it was coming. 10 mins later we get the grinder no pizza. A few minutes later the pizza arrived. She said she understood we were in a rush and would wrap our food up. Well 15 mins later she comes with a box and the check. Had my card for an additional 20 mins until I got up and demanded my card back. Dinner should have not been over 2 hrs for a small pizza and small grinder. Terrible service. Very disappointed will definitely not be going back. We should have gone to The Ave up the street best pizza and...

I have been going here for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. This past Wednesday I called and ordered 2 pizzas. I was told 25 mins and #50. When I arrived and gave my number and what my order was, I was told they didn't have the order. The mix up seemed to have been during a shift change and my order was never submitted. As these things happen, I placed my order again and said I would be back. They apologized many times and I said it was fine. I arrived again approximately 20 mins later, before I could go inside, the girl brought my pizzas outside to my car. I asked how much as I was getting ready to pay and she refused to take any money (I felt I should at least pay for one pizza). They comped the whole order and apologized once again! That is #1 customer service. That is why Central pizza is still in business today and #1 in my opinion! Give them your business! You won't be disappointed. Food and customer service is top notch!...

I ordered a salad and a small pepperoni. The pizza was good, salad was a basic grilled chicken but the chicken could have been cooked a little more tbh. The reason behind my 2 star rating is the atmosphere and service. Extremely unwelcoming! I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up I waited a few minutes until someone popped their head out (no problem) but once they saw me, instead of saying hi or giving a friendly greeting I got a stern/ annoyed look and tone asking "what'd you get?" I told them my number and order and the lady nearly threw the bag with salad towards me. Then I waited a little longer for my pizza to be done (again, no worries I understood) but once it was ready it was just sitting on the edge of the oven and no one was handing it to me lol a nice gentleman realized my patience and handed it to me in embarrassment. Food is fine but service is super unfriendly!...
