Bella's Burger Shack — Restaurant in Bernards Township

I've called twice in the last month over a half hour before closing and they do not answer the phone. One of those times I went in to order in person, i arrived over 15mins before closing(this was just for a milkshake), chairs on the table, the cashier stops leaning on the counter talking to their friends who clearly didn't work there and immediately tells me they're closed(never actually greets me or asks if im picking up)then goes back to talking to their 2 friends while everyone else was cleaning. The next night is when i had called again....once again no pickup and I wasn't able to get a milkshake when i was there(they were out milkshakes apparently). I asked the cashier what time they stop taking orders, they told me they stop answering the phone 30mins before closing(id called at like 7:25). I told her about the night before and she told me that they should have been able to make the milkshake because they close at 9.

Tonight I call before 8:30pm....typical no answer. I arrived and all the lights are off because they're already closed on a Saturday night, another person was sitting in the parkinglot confused why they were closed already as well. This restaurant opens late and closes early most days of the week, its pretty sad they can't even stay open until 9pm which they advertise, which also is probably the earliest restaurant that closes in the area.

I do like the food there but the sevice is just terrible, it literally feels like its run by lazy HS kids that don't know what they're...

I was in a rush when I stopped here. Its the first place I've been to where the fire alarm had just been shut down and the police etc were leaving. It wasn't from this restaraunt from what they said and had to do with the place above them. Anyway, it was an interesting tidbit about my visit to share.

Ordering was straightforward, but inside it's pretty tight. I would not want to be there when it's very busy.

The food was good, but the sauce they put on the burger has a bite to it. Not what I like when I'm not expecting it. Most people likely won't mind. I ordered bacon cheese fries and the cheese wasn't enough, and the bacon pieces were chewy. I wouldnt order it again. Daughter didn't finish her burger, husband enjoyed his.

Been going here for over 10 years and I've never had any real issues, in the last 3 years this place has reduced meal sizes in half while continuing to increase in price drastically. When it comes to ordering, 6 times out of 10 they are closed for no reason, or they stop answering the phone 50 minutes before closing. If that's the case, LIST THAT.

I had picked up my most recent order and noticed they hadn't given me any French fries. I asked and they said they would honor it and give them to me, I then proceeded to wait for 25 minutes with 4 other people who were waiting on their orders which were also messed up. 5 people at once had to wait, I was #3 and it was 25 minutes I can't imagine how #5 felt walking out of their.
