My rating is 3.5 and I have mixed reviews on different items that were ordered, ranging from 3 to 4 out of 5. Parking (a big thumbs up): a big parking lot nearby, so no need to worry about paying extra $$ for parking. Wait time: there’s a good 30-40 min wait time. And while I tried to wait at the bar and thought I could order a beverage while waiting, they asked me to get up and wait in the waiting area. As she felt bad doing that, she said I can get the beverage you ordered already and bill it to your table once you’re seated but you can’t sit at the bar area and can have your beverage at the waiting area. Food: there are some good healthy options to order, unlike a lot of brunch places - so I was very happy to see healthy options on the menu. The pesto chicken quinoa bowl was good, could have been better had it not have so much lemon in it. They did serve a few lemon wedges with the dish and I wished they just let me adjust my lemon intake instead of making it so lemony. My friends who ordered pancakes and potatoes liked everything they ordered. Beverage: there’s a good juice menu and the one we ordered was very good with orange and coconut and some other ingredients. Coffee on the other hand was awfully worse than the gas station iced coffee. However, those who ordered hot brewed coffee had a much better experience. So I’d suggest if you’re particular about your espresso, don’t order iced coffee here. Service: it was overall good apart from the bar rules they had. You do have to pay at the register on your way out, which was definitely odd considering they took your ordered at the table. We waited at the table for a while and then she realized that and told us we need to pay on our way out. Overall, it’s not a bad option if you’re in the area, just make sure you get yourself on the waitlist in time to avoid long waiting time on Saturday and Sunday brunches.

My girls took me here for Father’s Day breakfast/brunch. The place was busy but we got in the line online and was able to get a table pretty quickly. Our server was pretty busy so it took her several minutes before she got to the table to get our drink orders. I ordered the traditional breakfast with eggs over easy, skillet potatoes and bacon. Everything on my plate was fine except for the eggs. The eggs were scorched and cooked too much through to be over easy. Because of the wait, I didn’t want to send back and ate them. The food overall was good and everyone else’s food came out to their liking. We spent around $20-25 each. Parking was full but we did catch someone leaving so was able to get a parking space pretty easy. It took around 20 minutes or more for our food to come out but this was a busy place, especially on Father’s Day so that was to be expected. I would recommend the online get in line sign up but it’s not necessarily guaranteed you will get in faster but felt like it did for us. The staff was busy but friendly. I would eat here again. I’m giving a 4-star for overall experience but for my order would probably give a 3-star because of the scorched eggs.

First watch is a credit to breakfast restaurants. I don't even want to classify this as a restaurant due to the level of elevation in the food. More like professional food artist. I ordered the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash, and I've never had the food come out and look just like the picture. They toasted the corn tortillas which was a first for me to try also, awesome! The hash itself was impeccably well balanced and the cook expertly handled my request for extra crispy potatoes! My sister ordered the trifecta, and for waffles, sausage, eggs, and mixed berry compote, every element was elevated and stood on its own, even the hot syrup! I tried the sausage gravy, to see how it was.. and it's on point! I couldn't attempt to fit it in as the hash was very satisfying and filling, but I WILL BE BACK to get it! Very affordable, and they have great natural drinks, and cocktails. Naja, our server was amazing. Knowledgeable, fast, attentive, without being too clingy. She led us to a great breakfast experience, thank you! Our first Nashville visit has us excited for more.

This place is alright. Not stellar. Not terrible. But it's okay.

There's good diversity to their menu and it's clear they try to elevate their dishes a bit but there's always something key missing; flavor.

Don't get me wrong. It's not that it tastes 'bad' but it's like they only want to play it safe and to me, the dishes always seem a bit bland. A few more spices beyond salt and pepper would be nice. You get a very nice presentation so it's a shame that the food underwhelms.

The portions are also ridiculously oversized. I'd be happy to pay a dollar or two less and have a more reasonable plate. For instance, I don't need a big pile of potatoes AND 2 pieces of buttered toast (that never get eaten). At present I never finish it and a lot of it (like eggs) aren't things I want to save for later so I feel bad about wasting food.

And the coffee could seriously be improved. There's no excuse for weak, drip coffee these days. It needs a proper barista.

I will say their fresh juices are excellent though and the service has always been very prompt and friendly.

There's always a wait on weekend mornings so clearly they're doing something right but I think it's a lot more style...
