Camino Real Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Berryville

We absolutely love this place, but I believe the guys name is Spencer that works behind the bar, is not the greatest server or bartender at all. I took my son and his girlfriend out to celebrate their 1 year anniversary about 2 weeks ago, no one was there, there was about 2 people sitting at the bar, and then myself and my son and his girlfriend, not once did this guy come and check on us, as soon as my son was given his drink, he spilled it accidentally, and since we were never checked on, we had to go and get napkins from the bathrooms to clean up the mess, a good server would have brought napkins to us, and brought my son another drink. It was not busy at all, and there was no reason why he couldn't have come to check on us and or ask how things were, none of this took place, and I was very disappointed. I've really been trying to be lenient to local restaurants, but after receiving my third "vegetarian" order in as many months with meat in it (this time, the entire meal had meat instead of one or two items), I'm done coming here as well. I guess literally zero restaurants in the area can make vegetarian food correctly. I've lived here for 18 years and have never had bad service until recently.

EDIT: When I got back home I finally saw they had tried to call me minutes before I came in to pick up the order, while I was driving. I'm not going to use my phone while I drive, so it seems useless to call someone driving in to get an order. Also, I don't mean to be rude, but when an order asks for no meat, what is there to call about? And why make the entire meal with meat instead? Out of spite? I've also never been called before for an order, so I wasn't expecting a call (again for an order that had one...

I don’t like to judge a chef or restaurant too harshly but I am a huge fan of Mexican food. After our first time ordering from here we didn’t order again for another 9 months. I was desperate enough for local Mexican that I gave it another shot. The street tacos are good. The meat and vegetables of the fajitas were good. The regular hard/crunchy are average. The salsa…. I just can’t. It’s tomato purée with chopped onions & cilantro. That’s it. It’s a very lacking salsa. I though the refried beans were so-so but the rice was pretty tasteless. The guacamole tastes like it came pre-made from a grocery store which is not good. Also a side note… I’m very confused by the food being served with coleslaw? Like I’ve never seen that before & I think it’s weird and unnecessary. Overall though since the tacos are alright & beer is good - I’ll keep...
