Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Berryville

Golden Dragon is probably the only restaurant in a 50 mile radius to serve what I would consider exceptional quality Pork Lo Mein, and Wonton Soup. I'm fairly certain the wontons come from New York, and the Pork Lo Mein is the only Lo Mein in the general area to get the properly cooked, smoky flavor that only comes from a wok which has been used for years, developing a deep seasoning that can only come from time, heat, and Asian ingredients. Newer Chinese restaurants in the area cannot produce the same flavor lo mein as Golden Dragon simply due to the fact that they have not existed as long. Was possibly the worst food and experience ever. We sat at a table and there was no one else in the restaurant (it was 5pm). A very young girl (child) maybe 13ish years old took our order. She didn't know what unsweetened tea was but was very polite. They missed one of the items of our 3 item order. They brought part of my order, steamed wontons, in a take out container. They were basically raw and i couldn't eat them. My husbands order he said was OK but again, in a take out container. Never again. Called to place a takeout order of shrimp fried rice, beef with broccoli, egg rolls and crabmeat fried wontons, which I assumed were crab rangoon. Surprised to get shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, egg rolls and dry crabmeat fried wontons with no sauce. All this for the low, low price of $34.00. After eating a little, most went in the trash. There was little to no taste. If you're craving Chinese food, don't bother. Go across the street to Zen Ramen for great Japanese food.
