I have worked at a McDonalds in the past, as has my husband, so this review comes from someone who knows how it is supposed to be done and what it takes to do the job right without even an expectation of perfection. The service at this location is horrible. No one wants to take an order or come talk to customers. Tables are always dirty so you have to go find someone to clean one which takes forever because they hide in the kitchen and you literally have to hunt someone down. One visit my husband had to eventually step around the counter and poke his head in the kitchen and call out for someone just to get their attention. Once, there was a group of 3 behind the counter who would not stop their non-work related conversation and laughing long enough to wait on the growing line of customers building right in front of them and seemed annoyed when the customer closest to them interrupted them finally to ask for what they needed. The food is bland, room temp. , and just slapped together. Messy. Someone must have complained because last time I was there the burger was so heavily over salted I couldn't eat it even after wiping it down with napkins trying to salvage it. Employee attitudes are going to destroy this business. Everyone needs some serious training including the managers. The one we dealt with one day had no concept of customer service or how to manage a restaurant. They are unfriendly and totally unconcerned with doing their jobs or quality of food and service. We believe in giving a place 3 tries because everyone can have a bad day but we've given this place more than the 3 tries and it still fails to redeem itself. This place gets worse with every visit. We're finished. Cannot NOT...
Read moreHere we go. More changes due to crime. 1st McDs I've seen after remodel with beverage center removed. Was told customers were stealing sodas to the point they put all beverages in back of the house. Also, the remodel virtually closed off visability of the counter from the back. With low employee count added to employees who don't exhibit enjoying their work, expect to wait at the counter. I did. Not meaning to sound whiney, but the now more expensive large iced tea (granted, $1 was a really good price) what I got was a full, clear cup of beige water, way underbrewed. The boy waiting on me was pleasant and quickly replaced the tea. His positive attitude was the best part of the visit. update 10/5 The 2 young ladies tag-teaming counter service deserve to have their pictures posted holding blue ribbons. Great kids! It is NOT this store's fault, but we're gonna stop ordering the McChicken. We understand price increases, but the kid-sized bun and tiny chicken patty are laughable. And the spicy touch it's always had was absent. We'll try something else. And if you're like us and don't enjoy walking through a cloud of smoke, wait in the car until the employee pacing with a cigarette goes around the...
Read moreTonight's experience was HORRIBLE!! I ordered 2 burgers, 1 chicken sandwhich, and 2 fries w/o salt. I waited at one window for quite a while, then was asked to pull up because they hadnt made enough fries for my order. So in other words:my sandwiches got cold waiting on the second batch of fries..I saw my fries just sitting there under the warmer as two cars behind got their orders. I sat for about another 5-7 minutes waiting. Finally when they brought my food,I asked: are my sandwiches going to cold now? He reassured that they would not be-that everything was "fresh". Guess what? It wasnt, and my sandwich had pickles! yuck! The fries were cold. The whole point of getting "no salt fries" was to get fresh ones!! Disgusted. :( When I called to complain-they said bring the receipt and the food and they would replace it. Like I wanted to go ALL the way back up there and sit-again-in their drive thru..so I didn't. I WASTED my time, my gas, and my money, and I am...
