Last week my family and I had dinner at the Rocks. It was one of the slowest and worst food we had in a long time. 1 hour and 20 min from start to finish for bar food/specials and not something fine dining. We order our drinks and food immediately. Youngest had cheese sticks that came out around 35 min. Middle kiddo order chicken fingers and apple sauce. Apple sauce came out with the cheese sticks. Around 50 min we were served ice cold tacos, tacos that were so good that the shredded cheese on the meat didn’t melt. They only serve hard tacos, that had barely any meat, charge extra for jalapeños and sour cream. Another few minutes for my oldest kid’s burger (which was completely well done) and an order of wings for the table and the middle kiddos chicken tenders. We couldn’t even send it back as we didn’t want to wait another 30+ minutes for cold tacos again and a well done burger. As being frequent regulars this place unfortunately is not worth the price, wait, or food. Place as least seemed clean since having to close recently for deep cleaning due to a norovirus outbreak, and wings were decent. Their mild sauce is disgusting as it is a mix of bbq and hot sauce instead of hot sauce and butter; hot sauce is basic, garlic Parmesan is the best it is a roasted garlic Parm. Unfortunately, this place is off our place to go: would never recommend...
Read moreIt has been awhile, and I felt this review had to be changed, my original hinge with the place was service. Since then both bartenders have been great, I believe are Jenn and Steph both are friendly and knowledgeable, whenever friends and I go in the server is usually Mackenzie who very nice and witty. Quality and presentation of the food is great, I honestly haven’t found anything I truly dislike on the menu and while the menu is less than the restaurant side, but it is diverse. They switch up the specials up every so often, along with drinks specials and depending on the season which is nice. This also have specials for Wings, Tacos, and other stuff depending on the day. It is place worth going to if you want something nice but not overpriced, some photos of the food(random ones that were taken to annoy people who were hungry).
The only downside is sometimes determining if they are open and it is easy to miss because it is hidden behind the restaurant side C&D Grill, all in all both...
Read moreThe Rocks Lounge has become one of our go-to spots! The vibe is always relaxed and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. They’ve got great daily specials, and the happy hour beer prices can’t be beat.
But what really makes it stand out is the service. Our server, Patience, is amazing—she remembered my girlfriend and me from last week, along with what we like to eat and drink. That kind of attention to detail makes the experience feel special every time.
Overall, it’s just a great place to hang out, enjoy good food, and feel...
