Finders Keepers Antiques — Local services in Oxford Township

Normally I like this store. I haven’t been to it in awhile and was in the area so thought I’d stop in. They have very nice things and most prices are reasonable. I like that they have expanded the store. On this trip I was very dissatisfied. Shame on me for not paying close enough attention and saying something immediately when the total didn’t match what I thought it should be. I bought a cosmetic bag which I thought was priced at $3. I literally walked 10 steps out the door and went back in to check on it. The cashier very nicely informed me that the price was $13 and even admitted that he had to look at it closely to see how much it was because it was written very poorly on the tag. The $ overlapped the 1 making it appear to be $3. He would not give my money back because there are no returns even though I literally checked out 2 minutes prior to questioning it. Shame on me and shame on the vendor for not making his prices clear!! I won’t go back due to this poor customer service. In hindsight, I should have insisted the cashier call the vendor and give me my money back. $13 for a used cosmetic bag is...

I was there picking you up a entertainment center and another cab for my sister-in-law. They were very helpful they brought both items out to the curb and loaded them into my trailer due to the fact that I am disabled and was not able to lift the items myself. This was very helpful for me since I was not able to do that myself and they were very kind to do that. The items they have in the store cuz a little bit of everything from reading material and toys too furniture and anything else you can think of such as some antiques some modern everything is in good quality shape you need to stop by and check the place out. Also if you have items that are still in good shape and you want to consign them there to sell give me a call and set up an appointment they'll be glad to go through the items you have and if they're good enough shape they'll put them on consignment. Stopped in today for the first time after having followed their Facebook page. Had a really nice selection of items. It was a little hard to navigate my son's wheelchair but I've come to expect that at this type of place. Prices seemed fair and actually very reasonable on the furniture. My rating was lower because the gentlemen that were there were rather rude. An older woman has brought things in to consign and the gentleman working with her was very rude to her, she'd ask him a question and he would get very short and point to where the answer was rather than just telling her. My daughter and I only purchased 2 items, totalling $5 and the gentleman who rang her out seemed inconvenienced to have to take care of us. Would like to go back and hope there's different...
