First experience, I had placed an order for 4 subs and 1 salad. Nothing complicated. The bill came to $50. They did say about 20 minutes and I ended up waiting over 45 minutes for the order. It was definitely better than subway but couldve been somewhat better quality. The bread was a little hard, the meat was very dry, couldve used more condiments to moisten the sub, but the flavor was alright. I'm hoping it was just a bad day for them, and they have better options and better quality food, because I know people who swear by this place so I won't say I'll never eat here again, I just haven't felt the need to go back yet. The customer service provided was friendly and professional, so that I would say is great. The atmosphere was clean, but there isn't much parking space. Maybe 3 spots on one side and another 3 spots on the block on the other side of the building. It doesnt have a parking lot, just park on the street. I will eventually try this again but was not really satisfied with my...
Read moreOrdered the turkey sub. After handing the counter person my card when I got to the restaurant she said we only take credit cards for $10 or more. Now keep in mind they've charged me $8 for essentially turkey on bread that is about 8 in long. So my options become, buy a bag of chips that I don't want for the privilege of them taking my card or use their ATM machine and get charged a $3 fee. So my 8 in $8 turkey on bread ended up costing me $11 because they don't want to get hit with a $0.50 credit card processing fee. As far as the sub was concerned I could have taken my $8 by the pound and a half of turkey at the store and it probably would have tasted much better. I really don't care to be taken advantage of and something as simple as the credit card machine and a minimum purchase is exactly what they are doing. My point being is it's almost 2020 if you're going to take cards you ahould take them without penalizing...
Read moreI’ve been eating subs (hoagies to the lay person) a long time. Everything from dibruno’s to slacks to Wawa to kotch’s. I’ve even had some jersey mike’s and Capriotti’s. Bob’s subs are delicious. They’re gut busting and made with expert care. Honestly. Pounds of meat on these sandwiches. And we save the leftover dressing. It’s that good.
