I tried this for the second time since the first time was when they first opened. I found the first visit way too salty. this time they didn't have the tacos to try again. I only ordered for a second time since I was told they switched up the menu and it was better. I ordered a Cali burrito and parm fries. the fries were great, crispy and Parmesan was excellent. the burrito included several things but it was filled with more fries than chicken etc. I so badly want this place to succeed but please if u keep the chicken the same, lose the fries, add plane white rice and then use whatever people like in there but keep the staple as the chicken was great. the way the burrito was warmed etc was excellent as well. keep it chicken and white rice and then let customers pick the sauce or greens would be magical!
I love that we have new options here in town that are diverse as well. I want to give my honest opinion bc I want Untruck'd to thrive! I found the rice way too salty and beans uncommon for this type of dish. The beans should be pink or pinto. Salt should never be added to rice when served with beans since they add the flavor and are naturally salty. The tacos were soaked in oil. I think if the cook was more experienced they would do better. The tacos were leaking oil and I felt like I could have been better off going to McDonald's! We come from a Hispanic community and were super excited to support and try this out. I feel like the people cooking are not familiar with these dishes. I am so excited to see you guys thrive and we will be back just hoping for more educated...
Read moreMy gosh do we LOVE Untrucked in our house. It's our go-to spot for takeout in the area. The food is high quality and consistent. They have tasty recipes made with care and attention to detail. The rewards program is a great motivator to keep coming back. We usually get burgers and they're always juicy and flavorful with a grilled brioche bun and tangy secret sauce. They aren't just slapping out overpriced, okay-ish burgers (unlike another popular local burger spot in Dover). I've also had their quesadillas, tacos, burritos, poke bowls, grilled cheese, and the campfire dessert. Everything is always so good, but the grilled cheese was just a bit too greasy for me (it's probably better when ordered in-house - grilled cheese doesn't hold up well for takeout so that's my bad). I had to recently give up dairy for health reasons and I can attest that they accommodate dietary restrictions well. The building is a little musty smelling so that impacts the atmosphere a little bit (but I'm pretty sure they don't own the building so this isn't directly their fault). Overall I'll say its really hard to find a well-priced, consistently delicious, high quality restaurant in the area but Untrucked has it all! Next time you're thinking about getting Lexi's, do yourself a favor and order Untrucked instead. You...
Read moreTried it for the first time yesterday. Most of our party of four seemed to enjoy their food. I had a loaded burrito with Beyond Beef. It was what I expected. The tortilla chips were fine. My wife asked for the American Classic made with Beyond Burger and vegan cheese. I put in the order. She took one bite and realized it was actual beef. Clearly a mistake was made. No problem. No one was upset. I took it back to the counter and explained the situation. The lady at the counter responded appropriately, apologized for the error, and put in the order to replace it. When the Beyond Burger came out, it came with what my wife felt was a lecture on how to order vegan food. There was nothing unclear about the order. We were not faulting anyone. It was a simple mistake and it wasn’t the kitchen’s fault, but the kitchen appeared to feel the need to lay the blame on us. My wife will never be back. I can’t help that. I might stop in sometime to try some other items. The fries were top notch. The Beyond Burger was sub-par. She ate less than half of it and I thought I’d finish it for her, but it simply wasn’t good. Maybe freezer burnt. I don’t know. So hit or miss for us, but clearly others have had great experiences. Maybe dial back the defensiveness. You’re human. We’re human....
