They were having a very bad day. The drive thru line was long, and there were a couple of workers that had to take orders, cook, and bag the food. It took a very long time to order, then pay, then get the food. Then, when I finally got back to my car to eat, it was terrible. My country fried steak and hash rounds were stale & chewy. It was disgusting. The grease definitely needed to be changed out. There were about 8 or 9 ppl there working (1 doing the lobby only, 1 doing biscuit prep only, 3 looked like they were prepping for lunch only, 1 floater between drive thru & cooking that didn't seem to do either, 1 that seemed to be the runner for drive thru but avoided the front counter [& druve thru too, honestly] so that left the 1 lady in drive thru, trying to run drive thru, make coffee/specialty drinks & bag her orders plus take orders/money at the front counter. Veterans and Truck Drivers you're not welcomed here. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent visit to restaurant Jacks store #280 Morgan Rd. I requested a truck driver's discount and/or a veterans discount, the window attendant responded by laughing at me, which I found to be highly unprofessional and disrespectful.

When I asked to speak with the manager, who goes by the name Emily, she approached the window in a hostile and hasty manner, which only escalated the negative experience. I have visited numerous Jack's locations over the years and I have never encountered such treatment before.

Due to this experience, I have filed a formal complaint with Jack's Corporate Office, Consumer Affairs, and the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, I have shared my experience across various social media platforms to inform others of this unacceptable behavior.

This was our first time eating at a Jack's. And it will be our last time. This is the worst food ever. The big Jack is nothing more than a McDonald's double cheeseburger just 5 dollars more. I asked for no pickle and to have the onions grilled. What I got was no tomato and a little shredded lettuce. Then when brought to the attention of the staffed they just stood there with blank looks on their faces including the manager. Then the cook brought a tomato out to the counter and slapped it on the burger.

Then my wife ordered the chicken 2 pc that was over cooked and dried out. The mashed potatoes and gravy were great. The restaurant was dirty. Floors had not been clean. And the young later at the register who took our order was the only pleasant person in there.

We recommend to everyone not to eat at any of the Jack's. You will just get the same low quality food along with very poor service.
