Arby's — Restaurant in Bethalto

To be clear, before I share my experience at this particular Arby's, I am a huge Arby's fan. I am not shy about using coupons so when I received Arby's coupons in my mailbox this weekend I knew what I was having for lunch Monday. Had the $3.00 snack coupon good for a slider, fries and a beverage which was perfect because I wasn't very hungry. The attendant said, I will have your total at the window. I roll up and she say $3.77. I do some quick math and it is not adding up. I said .77 in tax, that is over 25% that can't be right. She says yeh, taxes are high here. I eat my cold slider in the car and when I look back at the receipt see they charged me $3.50 instead of $3 as the coupon noted. I know .50 is no big deal (.54 with tax) but come on, what is the coupon for if they are going to overcharge you anyway. I walk in and politely inform the counter attendant of the error. She glances at the receipt I try to show her and says, see right here, they applied the discount. I reiterated, Mam the total I was charged is clearly $3.50 when the coupon clearly states $3. She gets an attitude, looks at me and says, what am I supposed to do about it like I'm in the wrong for bring the error to her attention. I wasn't going to stand there and argue with her so I just said, thanks for nothing, turned around and left. What a joke! What is wrong with these employees these days. Had I walked in like a jerk raising hell I could see giving me attitude but I was polite. I'm doing them a favor by pointing out the error so they can hopefully fix it and not rip off other customers using the same coupon. How hard is it to accept responsibility and correct your...

You want to see some filthy ugly girls go to the bethalto Arby's did I mention stupid . I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato only they gave me lettuce and tomato on bread. When I saw them touching the food with no gloves at all times it made me sick. Go by and see what you get a side of yeast with your food. Have you ever noticed the owners don't care all they do is say thanks for sharing if you would like to share more. No that's not how you run a business those girls should have been fired, and all those girls who don't wash their hands I'm sorry it's not just yeast they can spread from there nasty not washing after using there front but when they use there other and they are working with meat on top of it they could give someone ecoli and maybe kill them they should be fired. Question the one with acne all over her face her and the ugly girl at the drive thru window they are were knee deep in it. I bet the girls working were all involved. This restaurant has always had good food but tonight was a nightmare spent close to $40 on dinner they forgot the multiple items have to go back around and wait in the drive thru again to get the items replaced . By the time we get back through the drive through, get home now our whole order is cold and soggy and to add insult to injury a couple of the sandwiches look as if they’ve been smashed . I tried to call multiple times to speak with a manager but they don’t answer the phone and I’m definitely not sitting through the drive a 3rd time this evening .
