So, I do doordash and I feel I need to comment my experience with this place. If you think about it, we dd-ers and Uber provide and profitable situation doing deliveries for them! Sometimes they are just rude at this location and you feel ignored. Today, I must applaud an employee I made a point to go back after my delivery to get her name. let me be clear when I say, I do reviews ALOT personally at restaurants and customer service is important and the restaurant business is not easy! So, I would like to say a BIG thank you for the kindness shared from Mary-ann! I also would like to point out that initially I made a comment about her hair color and that I loved it! I was waiting for a dash and the cashier an older woman shot a glare towards her and proceeded to tell her shortly after that she was in her way! No she was not, she was conversing AND working with me. I understand people have their bad days, to the woman who I didn't get her name, I hope your day gets better but if thats how you just are in general maybe you should think about this, you don't know what kind of day people are having a nice comment sometimes makes a person's WHOLE day, please think about that next time you encounter a person. I've also witnessed a manager degrade an employee to others months back in front of everyone because he found a new job and was quitting. Don't throw shade on people trying to better their lives and also, customers hear this and it says ALOT about the establishment. I use to love that McDonald's gabe jobs to ALL kinds of people who may not otherwise have one but hearing that hurt my heart for other employees. Read moreThis location has turned into the East Alton one in regards to workers & service. Pulled up to the far lane in the drive through. My lane was going way slow - no big deal.. figured maybe they were training. 4-5 cars in the other lane I physically watched pull up after I did all got their orders taken before the one person in front of me was STILL sitting waiting for her order to be taken. Finally she goes "hello?!" & a lady answered and took her order. I get up as 2 more additional cars got their orders taken in the other lane. My lane took forever to get a response yet again. I ordered a McGriddle add cheese and a hashbrown- 2 items. She goes "ummm... is that all?" I go, "yes ma'am". She said, "okay one second.... That'll be $4.92". I could tell she didn't get the hashbrown by the price, so I asked. She said very rudely, "I only got the McGriddle". I said, well I said them at the same time and slowly & you asked if that was all, so I said yea because it seemed like you got it all. She said, "well you're gonna have to add that at the window". I said, "but I said them at the same time and you asked if that was all". She said, "doesn't matter, I already sent the order through". So I let her know how pathetic it was 6 people in the other lane who got there AFTER me all got their orders taken and she couldn't even get 2 items right on that same time and then wanted to make it my fault?! Read moreHad a mobile order. Pulled into my curbside spot and waited about 3 minutes then they sent me a notification saying my order was on the way out. I closed the app thinking they’d bring it right out. Waited about 10 minutes then I finally stopped a worked bringing out another cars order. She kept asking me for a code which I did not have because I closed out my app and they marked my order as done. She went back in then came back out empty handed. Asked me for a code again to which I said I don’t have a code, gave her my name and what I had ordered and showed her on my app where it said I order it today. It was the young light skin girl, She made it seem like I ordered it to the wrong place or was just dumb. Which I did check before ordering, It was ordered to the right place:) She went back in, I waited another 10 minutes. Finally realized they were not bringing me my food so I just left out of frustration. I get it’s busy but that’s not how you treat a customer, especially one that has already paid.
