Quite the ironic statement coming from a University of Pittsbrugh alumni....but...nothing like having the official Penn State Creamery ice cream in Pittsburgh!

This place just opened and is excellent! All the Creamery choices from Death by Chocolate, Scholarchip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and even original Vanilla Bean! You can’t miss with these flavors and so many more (see pics)

Toppings? Sure they got them! Excellent prices too as my kids “mini cups” were only $3.50.

An outdoor patio to sit at as well as indoor seating (limited to a couple four-person tables). Plenty of free parking too! Great spot and look forward to...

This is one of my favorite local ice cream places! I have never been disappointed by any of the flavors, and everything about the experience has been so thoughtfully crafted! How many ice cream places have complimentary lactase pills?? Self service water?? Both visual and written descriptions of the type of ice cream they have available? I can’t name how many times in my life I’ve had to ask what a funky named ice cream flavor actually is! Not here- you know right away when you view the menu. Servings are also very generous and the waffle cone is chef’s kiss. 10/10 will...

My friends and I had a great time here yesterday! They were super patient with our large, chaotic group and everyone’s orders were great. The sampler platter was a particular hit and those who didn’t get one kept saying how jealous they were of those who did. They have a large selection of Penn State Creamery flavors which are famously some of the best around. They also have a few flavors from other smaller creameries and a nice selection of dairy free options. Overall it’s a really cute place with nice seating. A great way to end a day...
