Oliver Miller homestead is open for the season. This Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. I've come here several times a year. The location is beautiful, the parking is easy, the history is amazing. The volunteers explain all about the history of the Homestead, and the events of the "times", they dress in period clothing & really have all the details down 100%. I like that I am supporting this organization with my $2.00 admission fee. There are gifts, books, and, period crafts in the barn for sale. The maps and photographs are great.(also in the barn).
