I so wanted to love this place. When I saw "tea and shake shop", I expected, well, tea. Once I walked in, I couldn't understand why the drink menu was not organized by types of tea (herbal, black, green, oolong, etc.). Then I noticed the Herbalife logos everywhere and realized all the drinks are made from powder. I was already there, so I decided to give it a go. When I asked about what the drinks tasted like, I was told "Kool-Aid, but better." I ordered the Arnold Palmer, one of their top sellers, which I couldn't finish because it tasted so unnatural and very very sweet. Plus, by purchasing, I supported an MLM (Herbalife) that recently paid out more than $12m to consumers for misleading them.
