Dom's Westgate Pizza — Restaurant in Bethlehem

Oh my goodness! I just left this restaurant and I experienced the worst service EVER! I asked for chicken wings and asked for three sausage rolls. What surprised me was when she put her bare hands on the food! I was trying to be polite but she made it impossible! I told her excuse me you’re touching the monies and the counter as well as your hair and you’re touching the food too! That’s not sanitary! She replied she doesn’t care because she’s leaving in two weeks! She said she’s been working there for 6 years and she’s tired of being there so she’s going to work somewhere else. I told her you probably going to get fired at the other place based on your current attitude! I asked for a manager from one of the Spanish employees behind the counter and she interrupted by saying the manager is not here. I originally gave her a $20 bill so I said give me my money back! The only good thing from this is she gave me more money than I gave her! The owner apparently doesn’t teach cross contamination or wearing gloves! With all the diseases that has arisen cleanliness should be top priority! Pay attention to the employees how they don’t use gloves and truthfully they don’t give a s..t! Hopefully this gets to many readers and force them to be responsible or have them shut down! I will be calling the health department and have them evaluated. Based on my experience today they will get people sick!! Today date Sunday the 22nd 2024. I can’t believe how people are still going into this place after what I posted! They will make you sick! Wake up people!!!! Hands can carry a number of bacteria that can easily contaminate food, leading to potential foodborne illnesses like E. coli and salmonella. I will be sending letters to the local health department if they don’t act and I will continue to send to the owners of Westgate property and more. This has to stop for the sake of the people and...

Not good. We called in order to Pizza they said 5 to 10 minutes we walked in there only like two other customers in the restaurant but our pizza wasn't ready even though we waited 20 minutes to show up. We had to wait another 15 minutes to get our pizza. When I was checking out I paid by card they looked at the credit card machine then looked at me then tapped their tip cup on the counter in front of me which really rubbed me the wrong way. First of all I'm paying by card and it didn't give me the option to add a tip on the card machine, second of all if I'm paying by card I probably don't have cash which I didn't, and I'm sorry tipping is optional on a takeout order and you tapping the cup at me is not going to make me leave a tip. If it's super service and your friendly and the food is good I will leave a tip on take-out but you didn't give me the option and then were rude about it.

On to the pizza super disappointed it seriously was with some of the worst pizza I've had out here. The cheese pulls off in one piece, and was falling apart, the crust is undercooked and doughy inside, and it's so chewy that it doesn't cut it literally tears when you try to pull it apart. Also the oil pools on top of the pizza which is never appealing

Not good, I've had better around, I went here because its location was convenient but I'm not going back.

Let me start with the positives. Hands down one of the best pizzas we've had in the Lehigh valley. The sauce was top 2 I've ever had anywhere and cheese was good and they weren't cheap on that end of things.

We waited 30 minutes for 2 simple plain pies which was ridiculous but we didn't complain. Finally pizza gets to our table and we're enjoying it, then when I asked for the check the tip was automatically added!! I was like HUH??

We were only 5 and all she did was place 2 pies on our table and got us cups. We cleaned off the tables ourselves and all. Automatically adding the tip is ridiculous and insulting. Does this happen in other establishments, yes, some but I've lived in the Lehigh valley of Pennsylvania for 15 years and eat out with my family a lot and this was the first time it happened to us.

I get prices are up on food and many other things but I could have gotten the pizzas myself instead of shelling out almost 7 dollars for a tip against my will and the service didn't warrant it. So honestly there's plenty of other great pizza establishments in the valley, Ny Stromboli in Allentown, For starters who will bring your food out and won't tack on a tip without your permission.

I could have made a big issue out if it but I was with the wife & kids and didn't want to show them a bad example. If your Ok with getting lackluster service, a wait time that's insane, and tips added no matter how horrible the service, this is the place for you.
