This was my second or 3rd order with Fratellis and this will definitely be my last. I ordered delivery and when I ordered I got the standard 45 minute response for arrival, which I expected. I was fine with that. To be clear, I would have been fine with most time frames. I just wanted to know what to expect because I have 4 kids that were all “starving to death”... as they put it. After an hour my order hadn’t arrived and I called them to inquire. I was told the manager would call the driver and give me a cal back. I never received a call back so after 15 minutes I called again. This time I spoke to a lady who had no idea what I was talking about and she gave the phone to a male who I believe was named Joe. He again told me he would call the driver. I questioned him as to what happened to them doing that when I called before and all he could tell me was the driver was on the way. He then told me he was going to text the driver. I told him that was probably not a good idea to text a driver while he was suppose to be driving and he responded with “well ma’am, I think it’s fine just to find out where he is for you”. I was shocked by that irresponsible reply and couldn’t believe owner or manager can think it’s ok for their drivers to text and drive. I then asked him if it would be easier for me to cancel my order and go somewhere else and he told me “if that’s what I want to do”. At that point the driver was arriving at my door. No where during this entire event was I offered an apology or any other solution. I took my pizza and the driver left. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We walked in with my daughter and 2 of her friends who all play on Moravian's soccer team and two of the employees behind the counter knew them. My daughter said the Moravian teams really like coming here. The people working there are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful from the ordering process, asking questions about their menu, and then bringing our food to us once we sat down. First of all, the grandma pizza is a MUST order. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. My daughter and her friends were going to get chicken parm, but they also suggested a vodka pasta dish with chicken mixed in, and the girls went for that. They devoured it and had a full meal left over! I love going places where the food is good and they give you a nice quantity of food as well. This hits both of those points. My wife and I also tried the Italian hoagie. It was delicious. The only thing I wish was different was the roll. It was either not as fresh from sitting all day or too much bread for me. My wife liked it, but it was the only thing I had an issue with at this visit. We will DEFINITELY be back for the pizza and to try some of their other dishes.
