So when this place opened I just had to go there. Being from philly I can be very particular about my cheesesteak’s. 1st time they were great, lots of meat, cheese, great rolls, decent price. 2nd time just as good. That was a few years ago. Now I must say I’m very disappointed. The last couple times I’ve ordered they were marginal at best. I decided to give them one last try tonight and I am still disappointed. I tried the cawabunga (pizza) steak and it was no where close to a pizza steak. More like just a cheesesteak with sauce. Very skimpy and pricey. While they do tase pretty good I could name at least 10 places in the area that are just as good and more filling and cheaper priced. I myself will not be going back. They seem to be more about profit than customer base. **update** To prove my point, this is a picture of the $5 six inch cheesesteaks that they are offering for their 5 year anniversary. If you notice they are maybe 4.5 inches at best and that is including the wrapping. In the picture I included a lid to a coffee cup to help show size. I tried them again because of the promo but once again left unsatisfied. So for $15+ I got what equals to a Wawa classic cheesesteak 👎. I really don’t like to write these reviews but I also think people should know what they are buying.

I somehow neglected to write a review on this spot and I visited a couple years ago now. For my birthday I just wanted to choose a spot I hadn't yet been to so my gf and I came here and grabbed some food. We split a cheesesteak with fried onions and their house made Wiz and some fresh cut fries. The employees were very nice, and décor was sick! It was all like old school video game and show references from the 80's and 90's. The steak was solid. The meat was fresh and tender, I believe it was sirloin. Some places use sirloin, some use ribeye, whatever...one way or another, it was tasty. The roll stood up to the sandwich well and I enjoyed their house made wiz (I do prefer Cooper Sharp though for sure). I have heard a lot of people say they think the steaks here are salty, I personally didn't experience that and I am pretty sensitive to salt. The house cut fries were great. I love a good fresh cut fry and they were done properly. It's always a gamble ordering them, but this was a win for sure. People like it, don't like it, whatever. Ultimately you won't know til you go try for yourself anyway. For me - Wiz Kidz - Didn't Suck!

My boyfriend and I learned about this place from a TikTok. We both love cheesesteaks, so we gave it a try. The cheesesteaks are HUGE! We both have big appetites and can eat, but we each struggled to get through the larges we ordered. He got the judgment day cheesesteak. Be warned, it lives up to the spiciness! It was great, but just really spicy (so if you're on the fence, maybe order a different cheesesteak and add some spice). I got the CBR. It was phenomenal. I would personally add some kind of fresh or pickled something to the sub next time. It was amazing in itself, but really rich. The freshness or something pickled would cut down the richness for me. (It was good as is, just my opinion!) Fries were good, but the real winner was the Wiz. Order a side for sure when you order the fries. If you don't, you're missing out. I've never had a cheese sauce so well seasoned in my life. If you don't even understand how a cheese sauce could be seasoned, you've got to give them a try. They're doing all the right things, we just ordered too much food! If you're in the area (or you're far away), make a point to stop here. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I used to frequent here all the time, but we will never be back again. My brother went in today to order cheesesteaks and a milkshake with his wife and his daughter. A worker named Makayla took his order. He tried to use his sweet deals gift certificate, but she was making a big fuss about it and wouldn’t let him do so. He decided just to order anyway. After placing his order, he went outside to put money in the meter. His wife heard Makayla comment “if you want to talk shit, you will eat shit” while stating at my brother on his way outside. My brother’s wife confronted her, and she had nothing to say & hid in the corner while the other workers took control of the front & back of house. Without question, the milkshake was canceled as Makayla was the one that was at that station originally. Obviously, there was a huge concern that she was going to spit or put something in the milkshake (it was for my niece by the way). Also about a month ago, my mom went in to use her sweet deals certificate and it was Makayla at the counter. She informed my mom that she did not have any money on her sweet deals certificate. My mom knew that she had over $20 on it, she pushed her to please look into this and she was insisting that there was no money on it. Someone else took control of the situation and there was over $27! Makayla has ruined our experience at this establishment. We should’ve learned our experience the first time being there and dealing with Makayla, But after the disrespectful encounter today, I can’t guarantee you we will not be back. Unsure why you guys had to close your location...

First off, the atmosphere is a dream, especially as a gamer! You can see the classic Mario decals on the wall, Lego versions of 8bit goombas, Link from Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, ect. There's a large and colorful mural of characters from the 80s, a good bit I grew up along with with others like He-man, Cheetarah, Mr T, ghostbusters, and many more! Pretty cool Darth Vader and a Storm trooper statue by the ordering area too!

Now the food, now the menu has very few catagories, however alot of choices in each. Their biggest points seem to be their Cheesteaks, Quesadillas, Pierogi's, and fries. I have had their cheesesteaks and quesadillas, both are good but I really like the classic cheesesteak with their wiz! The sandwich had a bit of a spice level to it which I believe was from the wiz since I got the quesadillas without the wiz and the spice was missing. One thing is for sure when ordering these item (unless you opt out) is that you'll get PLENTY of cheese! So they really stick to the name!

Staff is super kind, very friendly and polite, my first time there they were super sweet, asked if I needed anything, and cracked some good humor! They also have brought my food to the table which I wasn't expecting!

Overall it's a wonderful place to sit, to enjoy the food, the company, and the nostalgia...
