I was initially unaware of this business being here. I was walking down main st and smelled the most delicious cinnamon/brown sugary aroma I’ve encountered. It brought me into the store. The worker greeted me and was very cordial and friendly. The store was clean and had an aesthetical appearance to it I found welcoming. I assessed 3 different flavors on a waffle cone. Cookie dough, death by chocolate, and cookies and cream. I enjoyed 2 of the flavors. One flavor which was cookies and cream had too much sweetened condensed milk in the ice cream base making it nauseatingly sweet and I couldn’t finish the remainder of my ice cream cone due to this. Additionally the waffle cone I would recommend to made thicker as some of it broke while I was still eating. These were minor inconveniences. I’d recommend this place and would definitely give it 5 stars if the aforementioned was done. The area is nice and I’d encourage patronizing this location if you wanted to have a family outing...
Read moreHotel B ice cream parlor has some of the best ice cream in town. They have a great number of items on their menu including ice creams, milkshakes, sundaes, floats, drinks and coffees. I love their connection to Penn State University. This place has great vibes. It feels very "homey" and "comfortable" when you're in there. They have a fixed ice cream menu that you get year-round, but they also have special ice cream flavor that changes every week. When I was here, I got the "Alumni Swirl Ice cream" which consisted of vanilla and blueberry. They are also reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I got a "small" cup, which was about $5, they gave me 2 massive scoops of ice cream, which was enough for 2 people. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely come back again for some more ice cream from here. I would give this...
Read moreMy husband, daughter and I stop by often for Peach P & HHJJ, our favorites. The best ice cream in the area! We’ve been patrons since the ice cream shoppe was next to the hotel. I don’t often write reviews & I would’ve given 5 stars but found out the other evening we stopped in that our favorite server, Emma, was let go. Our little girl has Aspergers like Emma. Emma always put a smile on Angelina’s face, not the easiest thing to do even with being served her favorite ice cream! Although the time/interaction was brief Emma gave that little extra something making the trip a little more than just a Saturday run for ice cream for our family. We’re sad to see her go & perhaps she’d still be there had I written this review sooner. I’d like to add all the kiddos there are great, consistently...
