We've been customers of Martellucci's for years. After about a 3 month hiatus, we returned to them for dinner/ pizza and a salad. When the order was taken, we requested the antipasto salad come out before the pizza. After about a good half hour wait, we asked the server about the salad only to be told the kitchen was backed up with orders. Not 5 mins later, the salad comes out with the pizza no more than 5 mins behind it. This would've been made a bit easier to accept had our server come over to the table to explain the delay. Then about halfway through the meal, our server sends another person over to ask how everything was so far and if anything else was needed. We said everything was good and she walked away. After that, we were watched as of they couldn't wait for us to leave. We were even asked if they could box up the remaining food and we were clearly still eating. I saw on reason for the rushing as we were the only table on that side of the restaurant and it was only 645pm. The food was great as we've come to expect, but the wait staff and handling if the delay in the food could be...
Read moreMy wife and I got pizza, wings, and "cheese covered garlic bread". No idea how this place stays in business with prices this high and food this terrible. The pizza had nearly no sauce on it, the crust had virtually no flavor, and the cheese was crunchy rather than gooey. The sheer lack of any kind of real flavor was staggering. The wings were abysmal. I'm convinced they just have bags of frozen Tyson oven-ready wings that they just heat up and then deliver. There was no sauce lingering at the bottom of the container, what sauce there was had some of the worst buffalo flavor, and the chicken itself was so bad that we couldn't even finish the 6 wings they gave us before giving up. The cheese-covered garlic bread had no cheese on it. 'nuff said. My wife and I have lived in the Lehigh Valley our whole lives and have ordered pizza from over a dozen different places. This was by far the worst food we have ever gotten from a pizza place around here. I have no idea how they have nearly 5 stars with over 700 reviews. They charge top-dollar for food that is far, far below...
