Puffins Café — Restaurant in Bethlehem

Finally paid a visit to Puffins Cafe on a lazy Saturday morning for breakfast and we're glad we did. Unassuming and not trying to be anything they're not, Puffins is simply a solid choice for getting coffee and a breakfast. Mia is ever-cheerful and friendly and while we could tell it's a place that lots of regulars frequent, we felt warmly welcomed as newcomers.

The coffee was good, my wife's pork roll, egg and cheese was tasty, and my eggs, home fries and toast hit the spot. Our kiddo got his favorite - chocolate chip pancakes - and gave the thumbs up of approval.

Good prices, good food, friendly prompt service, and plenty of parking.

Waited over 45 mins for breakfast and still wasn’t ready. Asked about it and it wasn’t even ready to be cooked. And would be additional time. They said it was “made to order” but it wasn’t that busy. The staff was rude and unapologetic and said it would be still be longer for our food. I’m not sure sure I’ve ever had breakfast take that long even when it’s been made to made to order in restaurants way busier. We went at 7AM on a Sunday for breakfast, and got to choose our seats. Apparently they open at 5:30AM everyday but the place was mostly empty when we arrived. The coffee only comes with the specials it seems but they did have a good variety for a cafe menu.
