We always love going to the waffle house and I know what day or time they are always open! The only problem I had was food was not to my liking the way I ordered it but that's because it was a holiday and they were busy! I also didn't care for the fact that they left a family waiting for 45 minutes for a table when they let a couple, only two people have a full table! I understand it's the going order of who comes our first, but we do have a family young children you should really ask the couple if they can let the family have the table! My husband and I sat at the counter so families can have the tables!
On the holidays most of the staff are very teary and makes it for a nice environment to eat and just relax! Although there is not a lot of seating there which is not good, and truly needs room for improvement!
The parking lot has enough spaces. Waffle House and self need to start running specials to attract customers like myself I know Waffle House is set in their ways but need to change things up a little bit for the times! But I've been to the Allentown Waffle House and the howertown Waffle House and again our count is much better! Waffle House in Allentown know us and no we come there quite often. We had to wait onevday, sat there for 25 minutes and we had to flag someone down to get food! That was the worst service I've ever had and a Waffle House in 30 years...

Returned here three weeks ago a little after nine all the way from Brooklyn NY a quarter after 10 to find a sign in the window saying that the spot was closed and had been closed since 9pm. Apparently there’s a shortage of workers willing to work 3rd shift and they are forced to close after 2nd shift. Please be aware it’s an issue across many waffle houses. Disappointed we were we went the next 3 nearest waffle houses and they were also closed with a similar note in the window. Don’t be mad at this establishment if you went here to find it closed. Blame the locals who choose not to apply, who don’t want work 3rd shift or who don’t want to work fast food. That’s who you blame. Red Robin near by had a similar sign stating they needed 3rd shift workers and they’re also closing after second. See a pattern here? Anyhoo I’ve personally bought the issue of google having incorrect hours up to the manager and he’s repeatedly reported it to google but it hasn’t changed. I’ve also submitted to date 6 hours of op changes to google and those little cum nuggets have yet to change it. Not surprised. Just fyi always call the establishment to confirm H.O.O. because obviously they don’t care if the posted hours...
Read moreFood was great. The way the place is set up, you can watch the cooks prepare your meal which we loved this idea. Very small restaurant. Watched large families of 8 and 10 have to sit separately due to seating space. We were few so we were fine. One thing I wish was different is if the waitress could have helped us combine certain foods together in order to make it easier on the customers in regards to price. We got the same meals but the way we combined them (due to it being our first time) we were charged more.
Also, keep count of what you're getting, the prices, and the name of the meals and add them all up on your own first. The bill is hand written and indecipherable to appeal any charges. When asking for an explanation of the bill (since we saw double charges) the other waitress could not even understand the writing nor the prices and could not give a proper explanation. The one who wrote it explained it so fast that we all (including the waitress) just gave up trying to understand it and our party, though confused, just paid it.
