First look I mean really look at the color on the red and green enchiladas - like stop reading and go look. I stared at that for a week before mustering the courage to go. Theses were going to be extremely deceptive or the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It was the latter.
I want to preface this by saying this. I used to think my grand mother made the best Mexican food very rarely beaten by a restaurant and if they did it was one item.
This food is so good It puts my grandmothers entire kitchen to shame.
This food is so good I would have thought it came out of a five star restaurant in Mexico City .
This food is so good I would have paid $30 a plate at such a restaurant.
The enchiladas sauce is so full of flavor I don’t know how they extract it but they do and you know it’s homemade by the hands of a loving grandmother . The relleno is by far the best I’ve ever eaten . The beans were cooked right with fat and salt as god intended. rice was fluffy and flavor full.
10/10 stars this is a must a have...
Read moreThe food was not good, at least not what me and my two brothers got. We did not like our food, the tortillas came out cold and the drinks tasted very carbonated. When I had asked to get a different drink because of this but the server brought me the same drink back, I knew it was the same because the cup was not even filled up and it was still carbonated. I asked for a sweet tea and they said if I wanted another drink I would have to pay for it. This business very unprofessional, I don't know if it was because I am not from the area and maybe that is just how bad the food is compared to where I am from but I most defiantly do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants really authentic or even decent Mexican food, the server even said that they did not know how to make regular cheese enchiladas, how does a "Mexican Restaurant" not know this...
Read moreI wanted to like this place as I've missed REAL Mexican food since moving to Texas from Arizona. Unfortunately my entire family was disappointed. My son didn't read the menu very well and was shocked that the Titas cheeseburger arrives topped with sliced fried hotdogs and lunchmeat on the burger. There was a tiny pile of soggy fries with it. NONE of the meats had seasoning so they were extremely bland. The chile rellenos had no flavor other than the unseasoned fried egg batter. The carnitas burrito was extremely dry. Both burritos were very thin and not tasty. With tip it came to almost $50 for 3 meals and 2 burritos, and there just wasn't that much food. In all, we probably won't be ordering from Titas again in the near future. Not sure if it was just an off day, but I'm sad. 2 stars cuz they're nice and...
