Chalet — Local services in Big Spring

The location is the best! It's right in downtown Big Spring. You can tell the inside has been preserved in a way that shows a great deal of respect for the historic value of the building. I really loved that. The store is clean and organized and laid out really well. They have mostly clothing but also shoes, toys, blankets, books, decor, kitchenware, knick knacks and such. I'm always looking for glassware, dishes, ceramic/porcelain kitchen type stuff so when I saw all the clothes I was disappointed thinking they wouldn't have anything but I was so pleasantly surprised by a good area full of plenty of stuff to look through. The Chalet is not only overly reasonable with their prices but they have so many hidden treasures buy. The staff is run by volunteers and the money the make is given back to the community they fund projects to help with the state hospital. Many of the volunteers also volunteer at the local hospital.
