Mexica Burrito Grill — Restaurant in Billerica

Delicious. Friendly staff. But please don't fall into the problem Chipotle did, which haunts them to this day. Irregular quantities. Specifically in the burrito category. My first visit there 2 weeks ago was spectacular, and encouraged me that I'll never have to be unhappy at a Chipotle ever again. But my visit this week served me an underwhelming amount of fillings, especially the carnitas filling. The rule of thumb should be too much is OK. But too little, in a $10 sandwich, which risks leaving your customer a tad hungry as well as a tad disappointed, will translate into lost sales in the future. I've been going to the Tewksbury location ever since it opened (lived in the apartments right down the street). By far the best burritos I've had! The Billerica location is exactly the same as the Tewksbury location though, with some of the Tewksbury employees coming here. But everything they make is delicious and amazing at either location! Wish they'd come up to Nashua (where I now live), or at least closer to that area! We have California Burritos up here, which is pretty good, but Mexica is way better! I’ve always judged a Mexican restaurant by their burritos. This restaurant actually has burrito in their name. I’m giving this review a five star because I know how hard it is to start and succeed in any business but, especially a restaurant. However, the burrito did not wow me, the size was good, the price compatible with other restaurants but it was pretty bland. I hope they will consider flavoring up the meat to give it some taste.
