I have been a customer with Marco's since it opened but I just placed my LAST delivery order with them for a total of 43.00 I received an email that the order was made then 5 mins later says out for delivery. If that was true it should have been here in 20 mins at the latest rather than just over 35 mins to go 6.4 miles. Then they did not bring the entire order. Driver advised they must have not put all the order in the bag so just keep this pizza and let me go check my car and call the store. A couple minutes later the driver comes back and says you can keep this pizza and reorder but it may take over an hour to get it or I can ask for a refund. So I immediately call and speak with who ever answer the phone and I requested to speak with a manager but was told their busy. I proceed to explain what happened and then the person said let me get a manager. The supposedly manager gets on the phone and says immediately what's the problem with the order, making it sound like I was bothering them. I explained about the order not correct and I would like a refund because I was not waiting over an hour again like the driver had mentioned for a pizza. He said we're real busy. I was told he can't give me a refund. I was told since I kept one pizza which I explained was now cold, I could get a partial store credit for the next time I order, thats all he could do. He said they do not give refunds. Irritated at this point, I said I should have gave the pizza back since it was cold but the driver was gone. I ask for the next manager over him and he said they will tell you the same thing you can get a partial store credit and use the credit on your next order. I DON'T THINK SO with some choice words Goodbye. Thanks Marco's Pizza. Now my hungry kids were left sitting here wondering about their pizzas. Good thing there is other types of fast food places near by that my kids settled for and Marco's can keep their pizzas and obviously will keep your money. He expressed dissatisfaction with the tip amount, which left me shocked and questioning their customer service standards.
When I took to Twitter to express my concerns, I was surprised to receive another call from Bob on August 31, 2023. This time, he claimed that the business phone had been hacked, and scammers were contacting customers about their tipping choices. Strangely, the voice I heard during both these calls was identical, raising serious doubts about the situation.
Bob's explanations have been inconsistent and confusing, to say the least. It's hard to believe that the same person who contacted me to complain about the tip could suddenly be the victim of a hacking scam with the same modus operandi. This situation has left me questioning the integrity of the management and their customer service practices.
