Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Birmingham

I live close to this location and I give it a chance about once a month. It is often hit or miss on the quality of service & quality of food.

Today was especially bad. The woman that took my order was rude. "What do you want?" should not be the first thing I hear when pulling up. After each item the response was "that it?"

I waited in line, which today seemed to take extra long. I got to the window and paid, was given my food, but not my drink. So I waited until she was finished taking another order before notifying her that I had not gotten my drink. I ordered a large sweet tea with light ice. I watched her take a regular drink and poor it into a large cup and then add ice to fill it up. That upset me, but I didn't say anything.

I got back to work, where i took a sip of my tea only to find out that it was unsweet. I opened my food to find out that my entire order was wrong. I called them and they wanted me to bring my food back (that is illegal once it leaves the kitchen/restaurant it cannot go back). I have been continuously disappointed in the location and I doubt I will ever go back.

If u want chicken in this area, just go to Milo's next door. They have great food and great service consistently.

TLDR: Don't go to this location if you can help it. Try Milo's next...

Kudos to the staff for hot fresh chicken and the best sweet tea that came out of hell... (Because baby, this tea is better than any "heavenly" tea out there)

I had to get a cup and a gallon.

Was it worth it? Oh heck yeah. The ladies at the counter are always so nice. I was so excited about the tea that one young lady couldn't get me to focus long enough to give me my food.

I love moments of laugher with folks. (let's say fresh-friends.. as we've just met)

I did have to go from drive thru into the store... why you ask??

Because the app blessed me with so many chances to save money and get free food.

Honestly, I was so happy with the tea, the price, and overall experience that I walked back to my car like the animated movies with the bad guy robbing them.

I looked silly... But thanks to their app, I felt as though I did something very wrong. Until I took that first bite.

Good chicken but terrible service. I asked about the price as she really it up. My husband ordered and then I ordered for my 2 grand kids and me. I asked her to repeat the order and she did but my husband's was not on the order. She said there order was $25.00 + change. I asked her to repeat the order . She did two kids meals @ $4.49 and mine at $6.59. I repeated that it couldn't be 25 dollars. She got indignant and said the price for some items had changed. I said they could not have changed that much. She went to get someone, but walked back.My husband had been getting his drink. I asked what he had ordered and then asked if it was in the order, she said no. She was going to add it to the order. I repeated to wait. My husband ordered had to be on the order of the cost was$25. She said no again. Thank goodness someone else came over, checked and yes it was but was not having any of my concern about the was the order was handled. Just says sorry and fix the problem. Don't make it worse by saying prices changed and arguing about it. Good grief. Always drama in...
