Casa Burrito Inc — Restaurant in Blackstone

I'm so happy Casa Burrito is back, and as of today 3/2, I can order on Door Dash. I really enjoyed the carne asada and chorizo tacos and burritos from the previous owner, and was looking forward to trying their new iterations of the classics. Their menu seems to be limited right now. Today I ordered the chicken tacos, which was good, but I am not a fan of shredded chicken. The chorizo burrito, however, was FANTASTIC. The burrito came plane with chorizo, rice, and beans (not sure if cheese was included). I'm not sure if I was to request additions, and ordered as is. The chorizo was perfectly spiced and the burrito was large and filling. I only ate half! Their spicy salsa and sour cream was a perfect accompaniment. Cannot wait to try their carne asada tacos and burrito, and looking forward to ordering...

I want to like this place so badly, I've tried it 5 or 6 times since they've opened but every single time something has been wrong.

Tonight, I called to place my order and the woman taking the order was having a difficult time understanding me, not sure if this was my cell service or accent. In the middle of ordering she seemed to just give up, and hung up on me.

I called back, was able to finish ordering, and picked up my food. After getting home, literally both burritos were made completely wrong despite the receipt actually being accurately written down.

20 minutes before closing, I try to call to discuss the situation with the staff there and they are no longer answering the phone.

Unfortunately that was the last time. I've been fooled too many times trying to give this locally owned...

We were all in the mood for Mexican food and decided to try a fairly new local restaurant that has been here for a year. So happy we did, we will all come back and we’ll tell our friends. Like another reviewer said “it’s a hidden gem in Blackstone”… the food was delicious and the owner and workers are so nice. We’re from Southern California and have eaten so much Mexican food in our lives, and Casa Burrito is just as authentic and delicious as any of the BEST Mexican restaurants around… and good prices, too!
