While this region may have some hidden gems that I have yet to find , I shall declare my allegiance to Three Brothers. Being a transplant from Jersey , I have a predilection for well made Italian food. With that said, the sandwiches (these are my KRYPTONITE) are very well made, with very good meats and the freshest of produce to garnish said sandwiches with....it is their choices of herbs and spices along with oil , red wine vinegar and what I feel elevates their sandwiches to the next level....some kind of rich , creamy INDUSTRIAL MAYONNAISE ! Next ... They also have 2 more sections to their establishment..... Their regular deli with ambrosia kinds of sweet delights..... 1/4 pieces of pice in all sorts of selections....cakes , and just simple delights. Next , in the way back, is an almost industrial, commercial kind of outlet that if you are looking for the most obscure ingredients.... you are likely to find it here. The only place that I have found to contain the most esoteric and far fetched ingredients of like , other than here is Balducci's in Bethesda.... and that would be at an elevated price. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is a point of contention for me.... I went and pick up a can of ABALONE and upon bringing this and my other selections to the counter, I noticed that the expiration was already passed .... that pissed me off... everything else was good though. I still highly recommend...
Read moreThe best salads and pizza in the whole P.G. county. A restaurant you will not get tired of since they use authentic Italian ingredients.
This Italian restaurant is so convenient.
They have the very best chef salad. This was my go-to for lunch. They also have the best pizza. You can taste somewhat of a wine in the sauce, which just makes it taste like you're in Italy.
We usually get the works or supreme, we would call it. Their pastas are not bad either. Sometimes, they have specials for their seafood pastas. They also have a convenient Italian market and deli connected to the restaurant where you can shop at while you wait for your pizza. I would purchase their cookies, sodas, Dececco pastas, and sauces.
We heard on some nights, they have what I heard was like a karaoke night. We were not able to experience the karaoke night, but we did see a mic and bar. This place sure felt warm and inviting like a home away from home.
This place is perfect for bringing family and guests. Or if you are just holdingana office meeting orgettingt together with friends. This place is the perfect place for these events and better than other restaurant, even in a 40 mile radius.
Restrooms are clean and smell good.
Parking is ample and the location of this branch is perfect and you will not miss it since it is on...
Read moreVery disappointed- this used to be a nice establishment but this last visit was so bad. No greeting when I got to the register. Just employees talking to each other about non-work related topics. The couple behind me ended up getting to place their order first at the second register so when I started walking that way thinking the first one was just closed (2 employees standing right in front of it), I was finally spoken to and the young guy says, “ay, I’ll take you here”. So I place an order for an Italian Ice and walk over to the freezer where they’re displayed. They looked SO DISGUSTING. Like that freezer hadn’t been maintained in 3+ months. First of all, several of the buckets were pretty much empty and the ones available were either melted/refrozen, flavors mixed in, had frost bite etc. I couldn’t even distinguish some of flavors they looked so bad. I should’ve taken a pic. I asked the guy how often these get switched out cause they look so bad and old and he just shrugged his shoulders saying he didn’t know. I was so grossed out and turned off by the terrible service that I just asked for a refund and left.
It’s sad to see how much this place...
