I LOVE this nice little local cafe and the food that "mama" cranks out is amazing! Driving from Moab to Phoenix, we decided to get our of Moab and get down the road a ways before stopping for breakfast - ended up being a great decision! As we approached Blanding, we looked at Yelp for breakfast dinners in Blanding. Came across Yaks and pulled in. Walked in and immediately fill in love - very much of a family feel. Got seated right away and got some delicious coffee right away. We ordered then the Maricopa happened - everything we ordered came out fast, came out hot and came out delicious. Breakfast quesadilla was so big my wife took half to go - and it was delicious. Biscuits and gravy was some if the best we've everything tasted. My BIL had the Yak special and said it was so good, he'd order it again. Best breakfast though was my Skie Burrito! I've never seen this on any other menu before and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten for breakfast. So good, I asked to go back in the kitchen and personally extend my thanks and appreciation to "mama". If you're ever near Moab, take the hour long trip down to Blanding to experience this place.

We stopped here literally because it was the only place open on a Tuesday morning at 10am. The outside is not impressive but the inside is nicely done in wood. We were seated and placed our order. We were literally asked if we were good 3 times before our food arrived and maybe 10 times total the time we were there. Admittedly it got a little annoying but there intentions and attentiveness were commendable. Food was pretty good and prices were very reasonable. We would eat here again.

Great breakfast and excellent value! We ate here at the end of September 2025. The burrito with green sauce & gravy is so unique and delicious. I could only eat half though, it's gigantic. Our cups were kept full of hot, fresh coffee and everyone was pleasant to deal with. We even bought some shirts and local artwork they sell in the cafe. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely eat here again! We hope whichever employee kept the Martin Farms hoodie we accidentally left in a booth (and called about) enjoys it & wears it in good health.

(In response to the owner's reply: 🧡 I didn't receive your text, but meant no offense. I was not throwing shade. I genuinely meant what I said in my review. We hoped we'd left the hoodie there because it's a nice hoodie and hoped it was one of your employees who gets to enjoy it now. You all seemed like kind folks so thought the hoodie decided to live in Utah with you now. Alas, the mystery continues and the hoodie's...

After a long day hiking and driving the profound geographical formations, we stopped here for some hearty food and had the most delicious cheeseburgers! They are cooked per order by the most adorable chef, and we were.served by the friendliest lady around. The atmosphere is really cozy, and it smells so good inside. I can't believe we ate the whole thing! The coffee, food, and service are wonderful, and if you're a tired traveler, this place will put a smile on your face. Don't be fooled by the small size: there is plenty of room for everyone!

OH!!!!! AND DONT FORGET: They actually have official Bears Ears pottery (beautifully detailed!) and tees and hoodies for sale. My husband and I got the zip up hoodies, and they will always remind us of our awesome lunch and friendly conversation with the...
