Basically you walk into Nox'son a stormy Wednesday evening. You sit down with your wife and two kids. The waiter comes by to take your order as you hungrily ask for the shrimp.

15 minutes later everybody is served. Your wife and kids ordered the shrimp as well. As the night morphs into inky blackness outside you all talk and laugh and eat. You eat plate after plate after plate of shrimp. After a couple hours, you and your family are stuffed. You motion to the waiter to bring the bill and look down at your plate, letting out a small chuckle. It looks like you haven't even eaten a single bit of shrimp- a curious thing since you have been gorging yourself on shrimp constantly for the better part of two hours. But before you can puzzle over this small oddity any longer, the waiter bustles over to your table and hands you the bill.

As you reach over to grab the check your hand closes instead around a squishy pile of shrimp. There is no check being held out to you, just another plate of shrimp. A loud thunderclap booms outside as you look up at the waiter to ask why he brought you more shrimp instead of the check, when you are suddenly alarmed to find not the waiter, but a giant, human-sized shrimp in server attire staring blankly down at you. You spin around in your seat to see if your wife can see the shrimp waiter and are immediately frightened out of your wits. Your wife is no longer seated there next to you- only another human-sized shrimp wearing your wife's dress and...

Love Love Love Noxs!!!! I may have a bit of an obsession with this place. First off the staff is awesome. The ladies behind the bar are always super friendly and helpful. Even when the spot is at its busiest, they’re busting it down and smiling while they’re doing it. Now on to the food… I have never, and I really mean never had anything here I did not love. The wings are amazing. My teenage son loves the lemon pepper seasoning mixed with their nox sauce… says they are the best wings he’s ever had. He really said the owner should try the combination because he guarantees they would add it to the menu. Lol the steamers (burgers) are my favorite thing personally. They are so juicy and the blaw sauce is amazing. The bun is perfectly toasted and it’s nice and thick to hold all that meaty perfection in between it. The chicken tenders are so good and you gotta get ‘em tossed in one of the sauces… the Pittsburgh steak wrap is delicious also. Their fries are my absolute favorite in this whole city. Thick steak fries… crispy and potatoey… I get them tossed in the Cajun seasoning and you have to get a side of the ranch… best ranch ever!!!!! They sell it in a big bowl… for 6 bucks… seriously I cannot say enough about this place. I will forever be a regular and it’s nice they know my name when...

Waited a long time to be greeted... Ordered a bloody Mary....as it was tasty, had no booze for 7.25... waited a long time to have order taken.. waited along time for app... Waited again for food.. steamed burger.. no taste.. not a lot of toppings to cover up for no taste..for 14.00 they could have spared some toppings... Award winning wings?? Dry dry dry.. we told the server no carrots yet there were carrots on the plate with the wings.. they must have been sitting in a water pan for a long time as the were slippery and slimy and we definitely didn't even think about eating them hopefully they didn't charge us extra...home made Mac and cheese?? Dry dry dry... nothing creamy or cheesy about it... In fact I was questioning the cheese part of it... As I had a lot of time to look around.. the stools for the tables?? Hard to sit on as they were about 7 inches by 7 inches.. the walls could use several new coats of paint along with the woman's room... Our lunch bill was 51.00 dollars... Nothing I tasted experienced or witnessed made me think the bill should have been...
