Marnell carry out — Restaurant in Bloom Township

In the area and figured...why not and gave this spot a try. Typical grease pit spots you'll find in and around the city with all the normal menu items. There were a few Mexican choice options as well that looked good too. But I ended up just getting a gyro w/cheese fries. The gyros was average in size but it didn't miss in flavor thou. It was on par with any gyro I've had before so no complaints here. 8 3. I've definitely had better but this still was a solid gyro no shade. The cheese fries were decent they do give a nice portion size but wasn't just hitting. 7.3. Something about the cheese sauce...it was bland to me. Overall the spot had ample seating so I got a chance to sit and not eat in the car. Customer service a cool, bro said fountain drink get free refill...say less. If I'm ever in crunch out this way I'll come back...

I would love to believe it was an off day. It has been about 2 month's since I last visited. That being said, all different faces, totally different Inside, and totally different food prep. Burgers were dry and pulled from a fridge, gyro meat was taken from a bucket and allready chopped up to be thrown on the grill. The cashier/person who took my order was super friendly and on point. The cook didn't seem to care what she wrote down or what her answer was pertaining to his multiple questions about the order. Needless to say, we got double cheeseburgers instead of single. And we got 4 large fries instead of the combo meals we ordered. Maybe next time the food will reflect the...

I got the Italian beef combo and cheese burger combo..it was awesome 👌 👏 😎...I mean I was a bit hungry with the munchies 😋 and yes I ate both combos which made the experience invigorating...the place was not crowded at all maybe 2 other people before me...after putting my order in I got my food in less then 10 minutes 😋 ...the place is not hard to find its literally right of the corner of Halsted and well not sure of the connecting street but it isn't hard to find...just east of the pink elephant laundry ...yes yes I will go back..oh and prices are reasonable ...the place is clean and you can also dine in...the staff is friendly..yep...
