The Original Hot Bagels Abroad is easily one of the best places to grab a fresh, satisfying breakfast or lunch. Their bagels are always hot, chewy, and full of flavor. Whether you go for a classic bacon, egg & cheese or a specialty sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. They also offer a great variety of cream cheeses, spreads, and deli items to suit any taste.

The staff is friendly and works efficiently, even during the hectic morning and weekend rush. It’s clear they’re experienced and know how to keep things moving while still treating each customer with respect and patience.

The only small issue I noticed is the placement of the digital menu screen—it’s positioned off to the side rather than directly behind the cashier. This makes it a bit awkward for first-time visitors or anyone trying to decide quickly in a busy line. Moving it behind the counter would really improve the flow of the ordering process.

I live nearby and this is my usual go-to bagel place if I have the time, however the process for taking orders and wait time is absurd. They need a better system because efficiency is a huge problem.

Their current system: once you reach the register to place your order, the person who takes your order leaves the register to make your order and then hands it to you. Then they take the next person, process repeats. No wonder there are always lines out the door. They always have a ton of bodies but service is incredibly slow and this is why. It’s toasted bagels, it shouldn’t take 30+ minutes from arrival to finally be handed your food.

They should have dedicated people on the register and a ticket system that goes to dedicated staff who make the bagels.

I’ve tried ordering online but that takes even longer - I’m talking almost 45 minutes for toasted bagels with cream cheese.

I hadn't been to this place in a long time... decided to stop in on Christmas Day .. service was fantastic.. food was really good .. I usually frequent another place but decided to drive a lil further and stop in ... since I had such a great experience the other day. I decided to stop in again .. wrong idea .. it wasn't nearly as crowded the counter girl who said Next was very very rude .. I was so shocked .. I had to interact with her she asked me if my card was a tap .. I replied no but if it's an issue I could use my bank card .. no response nothing I said did it work still nothing .. no thank you, have a nice day, .. .. just dry and walked away ... my husband enjoys the food but kindness needs to be an everyday thing contemplating if I will return... food was good.
