Aver's Pizza, North — Restaurant in Bloomington

While staying overnight at the Quality Inn, the desk clerk recommended Avers pizza North over the local chain store pizza places. I paid good money for a Medium pizza with the tip (Order ID: 72133172) ($30 total) about an hour after placing the order, The delivery driver called me to ask if I was at the Quality Inn, even though the address was clearly on the box, along with the room number. When he arrived 5 minutes later, I asked if he got lost, because of the phone call, He said no. I paid him, and when I started eating the pizza, it was almost cold, a little over room temp. at best... It was already late, so I didn't call and ask for another one. You see, I don't like cold pizza, or reheated pizza, & you only get 1 chance to make a first impression, I only ate a few slices of this cold $30 pizza. was very dis-appointed, I'm being generous giving them 2 stars, but I bet this would have been good is served warm!

UPDATE: The owner either didn't read what I wrote, or didn't understand that I was only in their city for a overnight stay, It was already LATE in the evening, (too late to wait for another pizza) I had to get up early to continue my journey, I provided the order ID #, if owner actually cared, he would have looked up the ticket # and see that I paid cash, He made it sound like no big deal, if you get a cold pizza, call us & we will attempt to get it to you hot! Like I said before, You only get 1 chance at making a good impression, he should install better work ethics with his staff! I now lowered them to 1 star after reading...

Gluten free pizza was incredible!! We recently moved within Bloomington and got a free coupon mailed to us. Somehow we had never tried Aver’s because we didn’t know they had gf pizza…but whoa it was so good! One of the best crusts I’ve had in a long time. Crust size was bigger than most gf pizzas from other local or chain places around town.

We also ordered (gluten) breadsticks for my husband and toddler and they loved them. Breadsticks and cheese sauce got 10/10 too

09 23 22 approximately 5pm Just picked a pitiful pizza got home and opened the box and what a shock. We kept getting bad pizzas 🍕 but this time we couldn’t let this one go. As u will see in the photo, this is just uncalled for for $17 so sad. I have already called ur store and am being reimbursed and hopefully it will b worth it. We realize that times are difficult, but if u r going to raise the price, u should put on more toppings than what is on this pizza. I hope u r not treating other loyal customers this way as well.
