Was in the area for a sports event and wanted to see if could find some Chinese food. They are located in a small strip mall, a bit on the small side for the dining area but looks more popular for take out. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered Won ton soup, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and egg rolls. Won ton soup is for my daughter who likes just the won tons, no complaints from her. Sesame chicken was ok, the sauce wasn't quite as spicy as I am used to but used nice big chucks of white meat. Egg rolls were basic with more veggies then meat but be warned that the spicy mustard is very spicy. Chicken Lo Mein was good with thinner noodles, white meat chicken, and a good sauce although a bit more veggies could be mixed in. Chicken Fried Rice was on par with the Lo Mein with white meat chicken, good sauce but could use a bit more veggies mixed in. Overall a decent little Chinese place to visit if in the area.

I would give Don Ho's 5 stars in a heartbeat if she simply upgraded her takeout trays, they always melt. I've ordered a handful of different lunch specials from Don Ho's, the food is great, but every single time, I notice large amounts of MELTED styrofoam on the bottom of the takeout tray. Today, a huge hole was melted through the bottom of my tray, and I lost the lunch. Either the food going in is too hot for the thin, flimsy, trays to handle, or she microwaves the trays before she gives them to you, and the contents become so hot they melt through. Either way, how much styrofoam are we eating? Who knows!

I like this place and it's close to work but there are a couple things I wish were better. First the cream cheese wontons have very little cream cheese, it's almost all crispy part (see example photo). I would even take half as many wontons if they just increase the cream cheese. The other thing I wish was different would be that the go easy on the mushrooms and introduce broccoli. I get a meat-free entree sometimes but it only has, mushrooms (too many), snow peas (not much), bean sprouts (hardly noticeable) and onions. It tastes pretty good in general and the portions are pretty big.

NOTE: I'm a take-out customer, I've never eaten-in there Been eating there since the early 90's. The food is good -- not the best, but darn good. Chow Mein and Pork Fried Rice are a staple food in my family. Customer Service is what makes it stand out though. The operators recognize us, make sure our order's right, and twice when there was a screw-up and we got the wrong thing -THEY- called -US- to warn us so we could turn around and fix the order -- then comped us the food from the other order we'd picked up as an apology! Same deal once when they forgot noodles in our chow mein... they realized before us and said we could swing back or our next chow mein order was free. And the next time we ordered -THEY- remembered it and fixed the bill without us asking or reminding them.

tldr; It's decent food but the owners are awesome and care about customer loyalty. Not just the customers' loyalty to them... but THEIR loyalty to their customers and treating them right. (Their Beef with Snow Peapods is also good, but I wish they offered...

Been ordering from here for 3 years and always had excellent food. We've tried many of the dishes on the menu and the quality is very good. But what is even more outstanding, and what brings us back time and time again, is the people who work here. They are always so friendly, always greet you with a smile, efficient and quick at getting the order ready, and when I requested they make one of my favorite dishes without a particular ingredient they were happy to do so, and even substituted other ingredients for me. Their customer service is so good and so consistent. I also like how their receipts give prompts to show tip amounts, but unlike other places their tip suggestions start at 10% and not 15 or 20. We are loyal customers and hope to be for a long...
