Scoops Ice Cream and More — Restaurant in Bloomington

I went to our favorite summer spot for ice cream for my family. It was packed!!! I'm used to this place being busy, but this was different. While waiting in line I realized that the school across the street had just had a play. It seemed like 100s of people.

I discovered that the two girls working had no idea that this large group would be coming in. They smiled through it and took care of each and everyone.

I asked if they could take a tip on a card with the square reader. They informed me they couldn't, so I quickly ran the ice cream home and to get them a tip.

I sure hope they had plenty of tips in the the student fund jar! They really...

I took my niece and nephew here for some ice cream, and I was NOT impressed. We waited while an elderly couple sampled several flavors. There were two employees serving clients, and while I have no problem waiting my turn, I don't think it's appropriate for all of your employees to be fawning over some customers while utterly ignoring others. As if that weren't awful enough, I had to gain both workers' attention - even after the couple had left - because they preferred to twiddle their thumbs instead of serving us. If you're black, brown, or any race other than Caucasian, do yourself a favor and avoid this...

So many awesome flavors. Not the place to go if you're looking for something plain like vanilla or chocolate but a cool ice cream shop with more than just ice cream. I cant help but get a slushie everytime I go. Everyone here has always been very friendly and patient. The only downside is if you do have a favorite (blue moon), they dont always have it as they cycle what they have on hand for variety. So you cant automatically expect them to have the sme flavor you ha last time, but this is also isnt really a bad thing as it forces you to try...
