Food is always great( only reason for the one star) BUT!!!!!!!!! Our server was the manger, Jamie, the whole time everyone else had to help us, he only came to our table to take the order of the main entree, I had to get up and walk to the front twice to simply get plates and other things we had been waiting on patiently at the table. We also had a wait longer on just getting our bill amongst other things to the table. I am a server and I always tip at least 20% or more but my husband (who also works in a restaurant) and I decided that our experience this time was beyond ridiculous, so we left nothing as a tip for JAMIE, but we were going to tip the main busser for the help he gave us. The bill was $47.81⦠I realized after almost leaving that I had been charged 57.81 which meant the MANGER added his own tip. When we simply asked to talk to him and told him there had been a mistake, he talked about how it was āimpossibleā and we made the mistake. I asked if there was anyone above him because obviously he had no intention of trying to fix it and he lied saying there was no one else. when we asked someone different, they told us āsometimes banks make the mistakesā Then I asked who was the owner and they said multiple times that there wasnāt an owner. When I asked for the owners number they said they couldnāt give it to me. Adding your own tip is not okay!! I contacted the other restaurant on the WEST side to help with my problem and further...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood Mexican food is one of my families favorites after living in the southwestern US for the last 28 years. We were very excited to try this place in hopes of getting good food that reminded us of our old home. The chips were warm which is nice. The house salsa was bland, very mild, but if you ask for the hot salsa, which was a green salsa, then it has some heat and good flavor. Unfortunately that is the only good feedback I have. I ordered a combination plate because I wanted to sample what they had to offer. My taco was crispy and tasted ok, My cheese enchilada had a red sauce that had a very strong burnt aftertaste, my tamale was very dry, I had to swallow water with every bite, and was also covered with the same burnt red sauce. The one I was looking forward to the most, my chile relleno, was stuffed with a weird cheese, it tasted like melted white american cheese. Needless to say neither of us finished our meal. We brought the left overs home for our kids and they didn't want to eat it either, we ended up throwing them away a few days later. Overall it was just disappointing. Our search for good Mexican food in Bloomington...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is amazing. But. Here's why I gave it one star. Apparently since they have opened, they have charged a small fee if you decide to make an order to go. Just recently I noticed the charge on the receipt. So last time I was there I asked about the charge. Most of the employees speak Spanish and are hard to understand. When I asked they all gathered together at the register and talked about me asking about the charge. Once I got an answer about them always charging the fee I noticed they also rang up my order wrong then they had to call over a manager to fix it, at which time they brought up the take order fee again to him and continued to talk about me again after I was already told about the fee. Before the manager left the register he says we've always charged that fee and walks away. Don't think I'll be...
