I went there last night and I have mixed emotions. They have a poster in their window and I got the s’mores shake from another Dairy Queen a week or so ago. The line was long but it went by pretty all right. When I got to the intercom and I ordered they didn’t say anything about not having the proper ingredients. I got to the window and I noticed right away that they don’t wear gloves. I wasn’t overly concerned because it wasn’t the same people using cash register. However, as soon as I got my shake I knew it was wrong immediately but I thought I would give the benefit of the doubt and that I was wrong. But alas, They didn’t use the s’mores chocolate, I’m not convinced there was any marshmallow in there, And the graham crackers tasted disgusting. They tasted like they had been sitting (opened) in the back of my grandma’s kitchen cabinet since she moved into the house. And you know Grandma has been there for years. The line was so long and it was near 9 o’clock so I didn’t bother going back. Luckily Dairy Queen’s ice cream across-the-board is good, I tried to avoid the pieces. Read moreI could not be more disappointed with the service I received today. My girls and I have frequented this establishment semi regularly for years and the experience we had today has destroyed any good things I could ever have to say. We were getting our car serviced, and I decided to walk them to get ice cream when they started to get antsy waiting for our car to get finished. We walked up to the window to order ice cream and were informed that we couldn’t be helped unless we went through the drive thru. I informed the lady working the window we didn’t have a car, it was getting worked on across the street and we were taking a break from waiting to get ice cream. So she then had me take my 2 and 7 year old daughters on foot in between vehicles through a drive thru. It would’ve been much easier to just provide customer service safely and just let us buy the ice cream at the window she had already opened to help the elderly lady in front of us. Unbelievable....
Read moreI was here earlier this evening with my family. We walked up to the window and we were deciding what we wanted while the family in front of us ordered. Well, when we walked up to the window they closed it and put the “closed” sign up. Multiple employees saw us looking at the menu and nobody asked if they could take our order before closing the counter or told us that they couldn’t take any more orders at the walk up window. When we tried to tell them that we had already been at the window the employee just waved us off and said they couldn’t help us. Incredibly rude and the lack of communication was borderline disrespectful. I’m not sure why they closed the walk in window in front of a family but I’m generally very understanding, and if they had explained what was going on then this would be a different story.
