First Wok Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bloomington

The first time I ordered due to them having delivery (which was convenient), I was surprised. The food was cooked nicely, portions were fair, and again delivery available. The next time they messed my food up and the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and extremely dry. It was a mission to break the chicken it was so dry and rubbery. I received a $5 credit. Try them again some weeks later and one of my meals was the wrong meal altogether. Didn’t make a problem out of it, they bring me my replacement and there’s a huge hair mixed all in my food. I call back and receive a $10 credit. Due to the convenience of delivery, I give them yet another chance. I explain about the past mishaps in hopes that everything will come out correct this time. The lady says “maybe you should try another restaurant, maybe Hot Wok”. Either accept the wrong meal, extremely over cooked food, long hair in food, or try another...

If 0 stars was an option, that would be my choice but I need to leave some comment. There was a roach in our food, I didn’t notice it until I was a few bites in, I thought it was a hair which wouldn’t have bothered me as much(still disgusting) but I went to pull it out and I saw the body and legs of this insect. Maybe not a roach , but I am disgusted. I called for a refund and the lady was absolutely rude and hung up on me , but the male manager called back to make sure I got the refund. I am appalled at their health and hygiene of this establishment, as well as their customer service. I’m very upset I was feeding my son this , to find a roach or some kind of bug in it. wasted $40...

Ordered carry out for the first time from this place and didn’t get what we paid for. I called as soon as I realized and was told I could leave my home for a second time to get the forgotten items which meant my other food would be cold by the time I got back. Since that seemed utterly moronic I asked for a refund, but was told the best they could do was give me a credit for an amount that was less then what I had given for a tip. Food was average, nothing special. I would suggest not ordering, but if you must, definitely check all your items before taking it for granted that they can get a simple easy...
