Frostie Freeze — Restaurant in Blountsville

Came in to get a sweet treat, and when it was my turn to order, I notice a little loaf of Banana Bread next to the register, it didn’t have a price, or the date it was made, so I asked the nice cashier and she informed me it was made at the end of the last week, and made in-house and it was the last one (it’s Tuesday now). So i was going to take a try with the Banana bread and as I grab it I notice a 1/4 inch white fuzzy mold on top of the banana bread. So I informed the cashier and she moved the banana bread behind her saying it might have only been there for display. Not Cool! If you are selling something, have fresh product! If it’s for display, then have it listed as a display. Had I not seen the mold, the cashier would have sold me the banana bread with mold. How many other banana breads have you sold that had mold??! I did get moose track ice cream with fudge and sprinkles, the ice cream was very good...

First time customer. Had high hopes based on word of mouth. Very disappointed. Purchased 3 milkshakes. Price on menu was $4.29. With tax I expected the cost to be about $14.10 or in that range. Was charged $16.80. That is a $2.70 difference. I paid with a card. Was told there was a $.50 upcharge for not paying cash. That still left a $2.20 difference. Besides being grossly overcharged, the 20 oz cups were only 3/4 full and that was with whipped topping and a cherry added. They had too much milk so they were basically flavored milk. My grandkids hated them which should tell you something because most kids love shakes. Next time I will just go to Jack's where there are actual thick shakes with full cups...

I want to set the record straight regarding these reviews that are several years old because it's misleading. This business was operated by someone else and was closed for a few years. The re-opening of this business by it's new owners was 08-01-2025. The new owners have breathed a new life into this once great place and have made it great again. From the remodeling to the food and friendly staff the once great Frostie Freeze now again has great food, ice cream and shakes! Pay no attention to the reviews left before 08-01-2025. The new owners are serving up...
